Located in the middle of an area of 20.000 square meters land, completely independent, very peaceful. By the river side. Completely renovated in the inside in 2001 keeping the old taste of the farm style. Fully equipped. Each house has its private garden and fire place.

"We had a wonderful holid...

"We had a wonderful holiday here. This location makes a fantastic base for discovering this part of Northern Spain.

The house is beautiful and has a large lawn (which was cut during our stay) immediately outside the house where there is room for children to run around and is secured by a fence and gate.

The attic room is accessed by a stow-away loft ladder that stands on the landing when in position. We have young children (5 and 7) and chose to put a bed from the attic in one of the other bedrooms (there is plenty of space).

The meadow out the front of the property is scattered with fruit trees.

The kitchen is adequately equipped for a holiday. We prepared breakfast and evening meal for 3 adults and 2 children there every day (and many picnics) without problem.

The other reviewer mentions two “factories” nearby. These are at least 300m away quiet (one of them is disused) and no more conspicuous than modern farm buildings.

All in all the property is of a very high standard with exposed oak beams and a quiet location that is “away from it all” but still a short (10min) walk, across the field, from the town.

What a fantastic base for exploring northern Spain. There are hundreds of fantastic beaches nearby. The caves at Soplao are breathtaking as is the cable car trip from Fuente De.

All in all, an excellent place to spend your time.

We don’t tend to return to all the places we’ve been to because we want to see everywhere in the world but we will definitely be returning to this part of Spain."

Un lugar muy especial

Reservamos la casa para cinco días y acabamos ampliando un día más, y nos habríamos quedado más tiempo. La casa tiene todo lo necesario, las camas son muy confortables y el jardín espectacular. La hamaca se convirtió en el lugar preferido de todos. Muchas gracias por unos días de descanso tan agradables

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Wir (Familie mit zwei Teenagern und einen Kleinkind) haben diesen Sommer zwei sehr erholsame Wochen in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht.

Die Hauseinrichtung entsprach in allen Punkten der Beschreibung. Alles war sehr sauber und praktisch eingerichtet.

Der private Garten ist sehr schön mit alten Obstbäumen und einer großen Wiese angelegt, es standen ausreichend Liegen und Gartenstühle zur Verfügung.

Das Ortszentrum von Unquera, indem es mehrere Lebensmittelgeschäfte und Restaurants gibt, ist fussläufig in 15 Minute erreichbar.

In der näheren Umgebung gibt es mehrere schöne Strände, die gut mit dem Auto erreicht werden können, so z.B. in Pechón (ca. 10 min. Fahrzeit) oder Playa Oyambre (ca. 30 min. Fahrzeit).

Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und diese Unterkunft unter unseren Favoriten gespeichert.

ESTUPENDA ESTANCIA

Hemos estado en la casa 5 días que se nos han pasado demasiado rápido.

La casa es perfecta, no le falta de nada.

Llegabamos un poco expectantes por los comentarios leídos, pero nada más lejos de la realidad, en la cocina no hemos echado nada en falta, el frigorífico es pequeño, pero el pueblo está al lado y se puede comprar a diario.

El jardín y la hamaca espectacular, un cesped maravilloso, desayunar y descansar allí por las tardes después de estar todo el día visitando lo mejor de todo.

Muchas gracias, por todo, cuando volvamos a Cantabria ya sabemos donde ir.

Maison agréable, idéalement située

Maison idéale pour une famille avec un ou deux enfants.

Calme, très propre, bien équipée (il manquerait peut-être juste un four), elle est surtout idéalement située pour découvrir la région. Et il y en a pour tous les goûts ; plages sauvages ou villages pittoresques de montagne, randonnées ou architecture (médiévale à Santillana del Mar, art-déco à Comillas), grottes préhistoriques ou d'intérêt géologique, et activités sportives pour les amateurs. Nous avons pour notre part préféré la gastronomie avec les fromages et pâtisseries locales, sans oublier d'excellents fruits de mer à San Vicente de la Barquera (et un excellent restau mexicain à Colombres).

Bref, un séjour très agréable, et nous avons été très bien accueillis par notre hôte, la polyglotte Ana, et son frère José. Merci à eux !

Nous recommandons sans hésiter pour les amateurs de nature et de culture.

We hadden een schitterende vakantie in Asturie. We zijn een gezin met oudere kinderen.De woning is goed ingericht en heeft alles voorhanden.Mooie tuin. Zeer goed gelegen voor uitstapjes naar omliggende dorpjes, playas en uiteraarde de picos. Ontspanningsmogelijkheden kayak, bergwandelen, kabelbaan, canyoning, strand en zee...

Eigenaars zeer vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam.
