Photo around every twist and turn in the road

  • 5 of 5

Lovely property with fantastic views of the islands off the Connemara loop road. Lots of space and everything you could want is provided. Very comfortable with tasteful decor and furnishings. The welcome we received from Debbie was warm and very friendly and when we left she embraced us all and wished us a safe journey home. Wouldn't hesitate to go back to this property. Thanks a million Debbie! from the Ryans and the Fosters.

Simply the best

  • 5 of 5

Sea for Miles is simply the best property we have ever rented, we could happily live there! There are several things that make it stand out from the rest : Debbie is such a friendly and informative host, we loved spending time with her, she lives next door but is very respectful of your privacy. Then the house itself is beautiful, 3 spacious double bedrooms with luxury linen, 2 bathrooms with fluffy towels; huge, fully equipped kitchen and cosy living room with such comfortable seating where you can forget all your worries and look at the ever changing sea view. We were lucky enough to spot dolphins and had great weather so were able to enjoy the barbecue and outside space. Everywhere was spotless, there really is nothing we can fault.

The area is stunning and there are activities to suit all ages and interests, plus some excellent local places to eat and drink.

We will be back as often as possible. Perfection.

Awesome Accomodation

  • 5 of 5

A splendid accommodation equipped with everything needed for a wonderful self catering holiday. Very peaceful location with unbeatable views which are different everyday. The house is very near to main Connemara attractions including Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park, Killary Cruise, Derrigimlagh Discovery Point, Sky Road, beautiful beaches etc. Debbie is very welcoming, caring, helpful and accommodating - it was a great pleasure to make her acquaintance. We wish the house was our permanent residence! - Paul and Marie

Superb Accommodation in Stunning Setting

  • 5 of 5

We are repeat visitors to Debbie's house. Debbie is a friendly font of local information. The house is beautifully kept and regularly updated. The views, as ever, are breathtaking and change frequently with the light and the wind. It is mesmerising viewing - better than television. If, however, you would prefer television there are three with many channels. While cooking and looking out the window we have yet to need a kitchen implement which is not provided. If you prefer eating out there are are several great choices in the nearby villages. Glorious beaches and other locations for hiking or just a stroll are nearby.

So Amazing! I cannot say enough about this location and the hostess!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here 8 nights (just got home last night) and it was truly amazing. The house is overlooking the Atlantic with the most amazing views. It was really everything we were hoping. The house is clean with lots of room and has everything you'll need for an amazing stay. The hostess, Debbie is one of the sweetest people I've ever met and made us feel like family.

Upon arrival, she provided us with a binder consisting of things to do, places to go, etc. and following her guidance we enjoyed the area so very thoroughly. She suggested a Connemara National Park hike that required our baby to have a baby carrier and instead of us trying to find and buy one, she was able to lend us one from friends of hers. She really went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect and even babysat for us while we tended to a sick child and found us a Doctor. I just can't say enough about her.

There is so much to do in this area. Here are some things we enjoyed: Taking long walks right from the doorstep-the views! The beach-one of the most amazing beaches I've ever seen is only a mile or so down the road and it really is a sight! Connemara National Park-our family of 5 hiked it with a baby, a 7 year old and a 9 year old. The views were enough to bring me to tears while climbing that mountain. Cute villages everywhere with the nicest people. Great food-(which I for some reason was not expecting). The seafood is local, fresh and so tasty! There is always something going on in and around the area and everyone makes you feel at home. Did I mention the views? Mountains, the Atlantic, the clean air!! We will be back for certain.

Pardise at Sea for Miles

  • 5 of 5

Sea for Miles is a five star property in the most beautiful part of North Connemara on the Renvyle peninsula. We were two couples who had a fabulous weekend in this house. The views from the kitchen and living room windows are absolutely stunning! We spent many happy hours sitting by the turf fire gazing out at the view of the Mweelrea mountain and Croagh Patrick - both of which were snowcapped! The scenery was ever changing with the weather and the coming and going of the tide. There are beautiful beaches nearby for a pleasant walk and mountains to climb if one was motivated to do so. The house is really well equipped and spotless. The bedrooms are like something out of a five star hotel. The silence at night time was fabulous and we slept really well. Debbie, the owner, was very helpful recommending good restaurants and pubs in the area and scenic walks. We would highly recommend this property both for people who want an active outdoors holiday or for the less ambulant like myself who enjoy gentle walks and then stunning scenery from the fire side!

Renvyle is situated in the heart of Connemara - approx. 90 kms from Galway City. (Ardnagreevagh is approx. 5 kms west of Tullycross). Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park are both within a fifteen minute drive from the house. There are several white sandy beaches also within a few minutes drive. The White Strand is a 4 minute drive from the cottage and Glassilaun beach is 15 minutes drive from the house. The house is rurally located and directly overlooks the sea and the islands. Renvyle House Hotel is the nearest hostelry and from door to door, is a five minute drive. There are several excellent and reliable taxi services in the area and once booked in advance, you can be guaranteed a reliable transport service to and from the local villages.

Paddy Coynes Pub is five minutes drive away in Tullycross village. This pub has just won the accolade of being the best pub in Galway (2017). If you're looking for an Irish pub experience, look no further. For food, ambience and service, it just won't be beaten.
