Yekrik Yekrak a lovely Villa

  • 5 of 5

We looked forward to arriving at the villa and we were not disappointed. It was exactly as described and, having arrived in the dark, the views next morning were fantastic. It was exactly as we had hoped and well described by both pictures and video on the website. With a location like this the temptation is to relax with a 'planteur' and watch the world go by. We explored Basse Terre and tried most of the restaurants in DesHaies and on Grand Anse. The Botanic Gardens and Museums of Rum and Cacao were also excellent. Many Thanks

Tranquilité assurée et vue magnifique !!!

  • 3 of 5

  • 4 of 5

  • 5 of 5

very nice

  • 4 of 5

The house and the balcony pleased us very well!! Everything looks good and maintained, - like in the pictures.

Very nice beaches in Basse Terre, especially Plage Leroux in 250 m distance. The only problem is the steep road to the house ( we are not used to such steep roads ;-) )

We were warmly welcomed and had a pleasant stay.

séjour inoubliable

  • 4 of 5

(Text automatically translated) The villa that we offer for rent is located in the municipality of Deshaies, northwest of Basse-Terre, specifically address the PointeFerry. Coming from Pointe-à-Pitre, the town marks the entrance to the Leeward Coast bordering the Caribbean Sea, facing the sunset. From the airport Pole Caraibes, so it should follow the direction Basse-Terre/Deshaies. The highway bypasses the mountainous and wooded, which forms the backbone of Basse-Terre. After the town of Sainte-Rose, it runs many beaches and coves. Once through the fishing village of Deshaies, the road rises to within about 5 km, then it returns to the sea to Ferry. At the exit of the village, just after a small bridge, you take on the road to your left Bornave it is straight and climbs sharply. You always climb straight after passing the second street on the left, we arrive at No. 12 (on the left side of the road, white gate) which marks the entrance to the villa "Yekrik-Yekrak".

(Text automatically translated) The "essential" sites: Soufriere Volcano, Carbet Falls, the Floral Park Valombreuse the Bananeraie "Plantation Grand Café" The Grivelière (planting of coffee and cocoa), the distillery Severin (cane plantation sugar and pineapple), etc. ..... are only an hour's drive or less. Finally, the Grande Terre, the islands of Les Saintes and Marie-Galante are ideal destinations for a full day of discovery and wonder. The most mountainous part of Guadeloupe, Basse Terre is covered with lush forests and still untouched by mass tourism. This is a paradise for hikers, nature lovers, calm and authenticity.
