About Steve Ferrante

Janine and Phil are both in Healthcare in Denver metro area Hospitals. We have had the good fortune of living in this great state and being able to travel all around the world and are avid campers, bringing our 5th wheel allover the Rocky Mountain area. We have seen many amazingl and beautiful destinations, Estes Park has been our special place to be since we were both children.

Steve Ferrante purchased this cabin in 2014

Why Steve Ferrante chose Rocky Mountain National Park

After coming to Estes Park for all my life, I have grown a fond admiration to It's unique, character and especially its History. This Vintage 1907 cabin has so much Estes Park history and dates back to the very foundation of this incredible Mountain Town's Vacation Resort history. This Cozy Historic Cabin sits right in the middle of everything convenient to the town of Estes Park. I love the fact that you can virtually walk from your door to the center of town with, Shops, Restaurants and our local winery in minutes. The Cabin has beautiful views of The Knolls Nature Preserve and is across the street from Black Canyon Creek which are literally 300-400 hundred feet from the front door. Bond Park is just an easy block away where there are so many events and activities that draw thousands of visitors. This has got to be one of the most Convenient Cabin's that Estes Park has to offer.

What makes this cabin unique

Just a few minutes walk to everything, Hiking, and Fly-fishing across the street in the Knoll's Nature Preserve, Biking on the trails downtown. Easy walking to Bond Park where there are so many activities and events with Restaurants only feet away. Just 4 miles to BOTH entrances of Rocky Mountain National Park.

The property managers live in Estes Park. Their contact information is provided with the check in information.

Our family had an amazing stay at the cozy cabin. It was an enjoyable experience. It was just a walk from downtown. We even had elk and deer come up by the cabin!! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to everyone!

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I recently spent nine nights in this wonderful cozy cabin. It is small but very comfortable and had everything we needed for a successful stay. There is a Jacuzzi in the backyard which we enjoyed every morning and every evening after being out and around the park hiking and walking in town. One of the amazing things about staying in this place is that it is just one street behind town between Main Street and the Stanley Hotel. We were there over the Fourth of July and because we could walk to town in about three minutes we did not have to deal with the parking situation due to the high volume of tourists for the holiday weekend and fireworks. This was a wonderful choice for us!

We had the opportunity to meet the owner on our final day there. We had a great chat about Estes Park and the surrounding area's and the opportunity to thank him for providing such a great little place for us to stay. We have already communicated that we would like to stay there again next summer or perhaps rent one of his larger properties. He was kind enough to return a half hour later with a gift for us as his way to say thank you for being amazing guests. We will definitely be back and doing business with Steve!

Excellent

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay in Estes Park. The cabin is quiet and walking distance to center of town. We had a lamp and toaster that didn't work and Steve replaced both asap. He was great! We took several hikes and day trips in and around NMNP. Rafting was great! What a wonderful vacation.

Good place to stay for the Rocky Mountains NP visitors.

  • 4 of 5

The location of this cabin is excellent. The kitchen is good size and well equipped. Overall, the cabin is in very good condition. To keep it clean and allergy free it would be better to replace the carpet with a hard floor surface. Also, would be good to have a set of hangers in the closet. On the last day of our 10 days stay, the area around the cabin was sprayed for either weeds or insects. I do not think it's a good practice to spray either pestisides or insectisides when the guests are still in the cabin.
