Welcome to this wonderful 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom duplex home only a 3 min walk from Magic Sands Beach. Just remodeled and professionally decorated, this charming vacation getaway has all of the comforts you desire in your home away from home, including air conditioning!
Close to Kona's Best Beach, but without the traffic noise from Ali'i Drive, the Magic Sand's Beach House is in a private and quiet location to maximize your Hawaii holiday enjoyment.
There is plenty of room for your entire group. This home has a large family room in addition to its living room. Enjoy the 50 inch TV and watch DVDs or stream Netflix (if you have an account). This house is equipped with High Speed WIFI for your convenience. Each bedroom has it's own air conditioning unit. The Magic Sands Beach House also has a large back yard lanai area, with a BBQ and outside dining area.
Things To Do:
• Magic Sands Beach/ La'aola Beach: a popular place to boogie board, just 300 steps from the house! Common place to see sea turtles and a great place to watch sunsets.
• Keauhou Shopping Center with KTA supermarket, Pizza Parlor, Ice cream store and many more. Just 1.5 miles away.
• Kahalu’u Bay Beach Park: great place for snorkeling! Just 1 mile south
• Downtown Kona: Enjoy fabulous restaurants, shopping and farmers market. Just 3 miles north
• Coffee farms - if you love coffee, there are numerous coffee farms within 15 min from the house
• Manta Ray night viewing - drive 3 miles south to the Kona Sheraton for free Manta Ray viewing at night or signup for a night dive/snorkel (highly recommended by the owners!)
• Waikoloa Village shopping 45 min. north
• Two hours from Volcano National Park, Green Sands Beach, Hilo, and Waipio Valley.
• One hour from Waimea.

About Owner / Manager
Aloha! We fell in love with the Big Island the first time we visited in 2010. We love being in the Big Island and spending the day at one of the numerous beautiful beaches, swimming with turtles, snorkeling in tidepools, hiking to see lava flows to name a few. We decided to make a home here so we can enjoy life in paradise with our children and friends and share it with others.

Absolutely perfect for our group!!!
We arrived to an immaculate well maintained 3-bedroom home surrounded by lots of birds chirping and lush greenery! It was a lovely arrival. The accommodations were great for our 10-day stay. The kitchen is well stocked to host dinner guests. Perfect setting. Will be reserving for next year!

Great location in Kailua Kona
Easy to find, quiet neighborhood. It's just a short walk to Magic Sands beach, which is great for boogie boarding or body surfing. Great waves the week we were there. Lot's of shopping & dining close by. House was clean & equipped with everything we needed. Thanks!

Great house, steps from the beach
We really enjoyed our stay. This house is very clean and comfortable,with a living room and den with games, an indoor dining room, outdoor grill and patio dining set. It has a well-equipped, full kitchen. There are lots of beach supplies including chairs, boogie boards, buckets, beach towels, all of which we made great use of. The Magic Sands Beach is a very short walk, and we all loved it, especially my kids, who begged to go for even a few minutes between other activities. It was so close we could easily accommodate them! My 13 year old loved riding the waves on the boogie board, and the 8 year old loved jumping in the waves and admiring the turtle who swam through each time we visited the beach. Great location for exploring the whole island. There were ACs in each room, but we didn’t need to use them with the fans and sliding screen doors and windows. Great place, highly recommend, would stay here again for sure.
Beach Condo near glorious "Magic Sands Beach"
Beach Condo has all modern amenities, well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms, well functioning air conditioners (central but controlled for each room to save energy), boogie boards and towels for use, and a full size gas grill.
Grounds are shared with an upstairs tenant but this caused no issues regarding noise or use of amenities. A plus is the "family room" with a huge TV and sofa for relaxing (and a place for kids to escape without danger)
Highlight however is the proximity to Magic Sands Beach which is a great beach for swimming and bodysurfing -- beware after November the locals indicated Magic Sands Beach often loses its sand due to rough surf -- guess the Magic only works so far
We had one issue with our stay -- an empty propane tank for the gas grill -- which was promptly replaced when the property manager resumed work during the weekdays (so we lost a couple days with the grill). So if you want to grill you might check the tank level when you check-in
Check-in was easy with a lockbox, as was checkout
Mahalo for staying at our house! We apologize again for the propane tank being empty as that was missed when the property was checked prior to your arrival. We now have 2 tanks there to have 1 as a backup in case 1 is empty. The Property manager is available 24/7 in case of any emergencies that may arise. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you stay with again on your next visit :)

Rates from $199/night - $500/night. Rates vary based on time of year, length of stay and number of guests. Minimum stay is 4 nights except during holidays. Where minimum night stay is between 7-10 nights. Taxes are 14.41666% exit cleaning fee from $285. Hawaii GE Tax- GE-196-788-8384-01
