Take your cup of coffee and walk the beach or relax on the deck overlooking the ocean and conservation land. Have lunch under the umbrella or an evening drink soaking in the sunset before heading off to town for a night out. Clean, well renovated and appointed home that's most convenient to the best sandy beaches Nantucket has to offer, while steps to the bike path, bus to town, or Madaket Millie's Restaurant for dinner or Millie's Market some forgotten suntan lotion...

A slice of heaven!
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well appointed home with wonderful views. The house had everything you could ask for - fluffy beach towels, luxurious bed linens, a real cook's kitchen and a great deck with a large dining table and comfy chairs from which to enjoy the view. Best of all this was all an extremely short walk to a great sandy beach for swimming, surfing and sunbathing! In season Millie's is just around the corner and is a great place to go for a quick fish taco and beer or if you tire of the beach (it can happen!) you can catch the bus into town for fine dining and shopping. You really can't beat the location and the house's appointments. We look forward to coming back here again.
This property is lovely. It has everything you could want ie home conveniences and special touches
Property is upgraded and beautifully maintained and between the fabulous deck, Madaket views and proximity to both beach and Millies we almost never left. It is rare to find a home of this size and caliber with ocean views from every room and robust amenities for less than $300/head/night in the height of season and I would highly recommend it to any group looking in this price range for a blissful island week.
Loved loved loved being right at the beach; an amazing location in such clean condition! Coming back again next year for sure.
A Little Slice of Heaven
I have been enjoying Madaket for 20 years and this was the best home we stayed in. The house is well appointed with a fantastic view over protected land and the ocean. The location is PERFECT to enjoy beach living and still convenient to town via the shuttle. The owner was attentive checking in with us when we arrived and after we left. I'd easily recommend this home and look forward to my journey back next summer.
Great location, fantastic views, well appointed home, and proximity to Millie's!
This is our second year staying in this house and we were thrilled to have gotten it again! There are three generations of our family on vacation. This house is the perfect place for us to come back to and relax everyday. My favorite things about the house: The beach is a block away - Millie's (cool little market and delicious restaurant with takeout food) is 100 yards away - there is a quiet beach in Madaket Harbor about 1/2 a mile away that is good for the kids - there is a convenient bus stop that will take you to town - and last but not least I love that it is in Madaket; which I think is the most charming and relaxed area on the island.
We will be back!
We really enjoyed our stay! Wonderful home by the beach with everything you could need.
SealDog at Madaket beach is located at the west end of Nantucket Island. Many consider these miles of beautiful sandy beaches the best on island. Enjoy the privacy of lunch on your deck under the umbrella or picnic at the beach. Enjoy the outdoor shower with views of the beach and ocean or under the moon and stars. Leave your car off island and take the frequent Nantucket Regional Transportation running from 7AM until 11PM, every 30 minutes on the 1/2 hour to and from town; near Ferry at Nantucket Whaling Museum right to Madaket! A recent quote from Nantucket Chamber sums it all up; 'Walk the wide sandy beaches of the National Geographic voted number #1 island in the world. Swim in the sparkling waters of Nantucket Sound to the north, or brave the mighty Atlantic along the island's south shore. Let the pounding surf and clean, salty air restore your spirit. Try your hand at surf casting for strippers and bluefish or charter a boat for deep-sea fishing. Catch a breeze on a sailboat or a kite board. Rent a kayak or stand up paddle board--the possibilities are endless!' Let SealDog take you away to a moment of relaxation...
