Cozy, Comfortable and Convenient!
We loved our stay in this cozy and comfortable cottage. The setting is beautiful right on the Sol Duc River, surrounded by trees, grass and flowers. Extremely convenient location for exploring the various trails in Olympic National Park. Everything we needed for our stay was in the cottage....our hosts thought of everything. The cottage had plenty of room for our family of 3 adults....would work just as well for four. Lots of great info of what to visit and where to eat. Definitely a great place to stay for those wanting to visit Forks and Olympic National Park.
So Relaxing and comfortable
We loved our stay here! Clean, comfortable beds, and so peaceful. Loved coffee by the river in the morning,, wine at night. Very happy with the location, within an hours drive of Lake Crescent, Sol Duke, many beaches ... wish we had more time to get to the other beautiful destinations too.
All Cedar Cabin on Sol Duc River
Cabin was clean and quiet. It is not fancy but has what you need to be comfortable. Nice beds, bedding and thick towels. Owners are next store, available if needed but did not intrude. There were some books which we enjoyed and a binder of nearby places. This is close to Hoh Rain Forest and western beaches.
This property was so beautiful! Our favorite thing to do was sit in the chairs listening to the water running down below! Met one of the owners, randy. Very nice and helpful! Centrally locates for visiting different parts of Olympic National Park!
Great lodging for visiting the area
Joann has created a very nice place to stay for those visiting the area. It is convenient, peaceful, and clean with everything you need. My husband, who is a woodworker, was especially impressed with the beautiful wood in the cabin! Thanks, Joann!
Forks / Olympic NP
We just spent a week in early September and it was a marvelous vacation in terms of the weather and the things to see and do . We especially liked Cape Flattery and Hurricane Ridge . The beaches at sunset are impressive. The waterfalls are worth the hikes.
The cabin is ideal . Clean and orderly but still felt like home. Well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had more than we are used to from other rentals. The internet was quite fast . The outdoor areas are well kept and inviting.
Joann and Randy are very friendly and responsive to any questions we had . We appreciate them allowing us to stay at their place. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the Pacific Northwest.
A great home base for visiting the major attractions of Olympic National Park or fishing the many fresh water rivers in the area. We're close to Hoh Rain Forest, ocean beaches, Lake Crescent, Hurricane Ridge, and Sol Duc Hot Springs. Cape Flattery, Shi Shi Beach and the Northwest Coast are also close by.
