Ideal for families who want to visit Paris and Eurodisney with children.
At a short walking distance from public transportation: only 5-minute-walk from the station RER A which takes you downtown Paris (Châtelet les Halles)in 10 minutes.
Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. No noise, tranquil surroundings and all amenities.
We spent 8 days at this wonderful place. We were a party of 6 people the house was extremely roomy. It was wonderful to be in a neighborhood. My family was from fontenay sous bois and being here made me feel at home, while still being very close to Paris via the RER, connecting to the metro if needed. I would say about 20 minutes to many places in Paris including the walk.
There is a wonderful grocery store and bakery very close by. Note the bakery is closed Monday. My family meme era who had not been to France enjoyed trying French foods. While those of us who had been there before were so happy to get all the foods we miss. The younger crowd really loved the cereals and wanted to bring them home.
Patricia is awesome! She answered all our questions promptly both before we arrived and while we were there. My son forgot a bag of souvenirs and she is mailing them back to us. She really made me feel like family making our stay wonderful.
I am not a fan of hotels, being here was a great way to experience Paris and enjoy the life people actually live in the neighborhoods of Paris. We will definitely be back.
Travelled to Paris with the entire family for the New Year's. The house was big enough to comfortably accommodate all of us. Everything was clean and the house had everything we needed. The host was very nice being always available. We had a great time there and will come back for sure.
"The house is very nice and we have enjoyed the time we spent there. It is located near Paris - 10 minutes to RER by food and then 4 stations - Around the house is a wonderful, quiet neighborhood. Patricia was very gentile and very helpful. It was very nice to meet her!"
"A charming house, in a lovely area. Had a lovely stay and would recommend the house. The only slight drawback is the parking in the street is a bit limited."
"I have to say the house in Fontenay-sous-bois is one of the best homes I have stayed in. It is located near Paris (a short public transportation ride to Paris) and it is located in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood. We came for the Tennis - Roland Garros - and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of the owner, Patricia, and local people we met in the area. The house is lovely and can easily fit more than 6 people. The owner was very friendly and very, very accommodating to our needs. Patricia is fantastic and the house not only has a comfortable living arrangement, but it has a lovely garden out back where we spent many a night barbecuing. I highly recommend that people stay here if they are looking for a house in the Paris region."
"The accommodation was beautifully decorated and maintained and spotlessly clean. No noise, tranquil surroundings and all amenities, including the station were within a few minutes walk. This is the nicest place we have ever stayed. The owner was very gentile, very kind. It was a pleasure to meet her! We will come back!"
