With a selection of restaurants, shops and café’s nearby, along with the magnificent Es Pou beach (200m), the location of Es Pou Dor 3 is amongst our best in Mallorca. Sitting proudly amongst villas of similar stature, this modern well-appointed villa is an excellent choice for keeping car use to a minimum. Both inside and out there is no shortage of space in which to relax, all rooms being bright, welcoming and with good facilities, as well as providing excellent options for large families or sharing parties. While there may be no immediate need to use the car, do take time to explore further afield. Head north and explore the Caves of Drach, near Porto Cristo. After experiencing these spectacular stalactites, stalagmites and subterranean lakes, sit and listen to atmospheric music played by musicians in small boats. Or head south to Mondragó Natural Park, this 700-year-old village is a haven for walkers and artists, as well as those seeking a taste of traditional Mallorca.

Great Location

We've just returned from a wonderful week at this villa. We initially enquired regarding a smaller property but that wasn't available and we were offered this as an alternative. It's much larger than we required but it was a great price so we jumped at the offer.

On arrival the villa was a little musty from being shit in the winter but it was clean and was spacious. We arrange for a travel cot and highchair which were both there and set up. The showers on each level are very modern. The kitchen is small but adequate. The tv shows mainly German channels with the exception of sky news and Eurosport. The cleaners came in the middle of our stay. The local representative, Juliette, is fantastic! Nothing is too much trouble.

If we were being very picky then I'd say swop the blankets for duvets, get wifi, new towels, and some English channels.

The positives are its a five minute walk to the small resort of Cala egos, there's supermarkets and restaurants here. It's also round the corner from the most beautiful little beach. About fifteen minutes away is the marina with upmarket restaurants and amazing yachts. It's a great location!

This would be a brilliant villa for a large group or family.

fabulous week in the sun

I would like to say a big thankyou to all at the villa rental agency. My family had a wonderful week at this super villia. we stayed from the 8-14 August, but so wish we could have stayed longer.

The villa was close to perfect. The pull was excellent! the villa was also a very short walk from the local beach which although small is stunning. There are a alot of local shops and BARs. I would recommend Pub Daniel! fabulous cocktails, Food maybe a little expensive but if you want to eat cheap then by pizza's from the local supermarket. Lager is cheap in the shops and nice. 59c for a litre bottle.Plenty of restaurants. There is also a barbequeThe view from the top of the villa is stunning.

If I had to pick holes I would say that they need a good rubbish bin in the kitchen, and also they need to improve kitchen equipment. dishwasher was alittle poor at cleaning and we were missing a tin opener. Chopping board needed replacing as well. So room for improvement there. Thats it!

The pretty coves and attractive pine-clad surrounding countryside lend to quiet relaxing days, whereas by night the main precinct in Cala D'Or offers a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants for evening entertainment. Many sports facilities are available, including tennis, sailing, horse riding, diving. Golf is available at the Vall D'or 18-hole golf course near the village of S'Horta

Visit neighbouring Porto Petro, a Mallorcan village by the sea where waiters carry plates of delicious seafood across the road to the pavement café on the quay.
