A Little Slice of Paradise

  • 5 of 5

Such a lovely spot. The cabin is comfy, immaculate and had everything we needed, indoors and out. Cindy was very accommodating and made sure all was well. We loved our horse and mule neighbors as well as the bluebirds. Surrounded by mountains and an expansive Montana sky, the scenery, sunsets and stars are amazing. Other than a very bumpy road off RT 89 to access the cabin, this is a great place for a Montana getaway for two.

Peaceful and What A View!!!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I loved the cabin! It was very clean, and we loved the view of the mountains. It was very relaxing and Chico is not that far away. It was the perfect way to spend our anniversary! The only negative and it had nothing to do with the Cabin is the road to get there. It's a little rough but just take your time and you'll get there. Thank you for the great stay.

Quiet, comfortable, cute!

  • 4 of 5

Spent 5 days here enjoying our first trip to Montana from the east coast. The studio was very clean, cute, and spacious enough for two adults. We appreciated the full-sized refrigerator and adequate kitchen to prepare meals. The bed was comfy, shower stall a modest size, and cute decor. We did not know how to "get into" the rental, thus requiring a quick phone call to the owner. Seems each VRBO does things a bit different. Next time I would check prior to arrival, but more follow up by owners would be appreciated.

Our only surprise was the "typical Montana road" in description. Coming from the east, had no idea it meant rough, bumpy, boulders to drive on for 1.4 miles. Drove 5 mph top speed and planned only one trip per day in and out!

Owner's Response: We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! Everyone loves the quiet setting and beautiful views. Thank you for suggesting better contact with owners, we have been doing that to be sure everyone has the access information before arrival. The road may be a bit bumpy, we just take it slow and enjoy the views as we travel it on a regular basis!

Great location central between Chico and Livingston. Clean, efficient and quiet.

Great space that's clearly well cared for. The space was well suited for our needs. I only suggest if renting having an SUV or all-terrain type car due to the terrain of the roads off of 89 to get there. They are incredibly bumpy and could ruin a compact rental car if you're not careful! These roads are no fault of the owner though, the house itself was great!

Owner's Response: So glad you enjoyed your stay at Bear Paw Flats. The road is a little bumpy, but since we travel it on a regular basis in our little civic, we take it slow and enjoy the views!
