Rome: studio-apartment near the "Colosseo" - 2 people

Bedrooms Studio
Space 269 sq. ft.
Property type studio
Minimum Stay 4 nights

About the property

For the holidays we propose a little “studio- flat” ( about 25 meters square) in an ancient palace built in 18th century. Via del Boschetto is located in Rione Monti, one of the oldest in Rome in the heart of the city centre. There are a lot of characteristic shops that keep the typical atmosphere of the place. It is possible to visit many goldsmith workshops and find antique engravings and collection object shops.

Perfect romantic getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We were exhausted after 26 hours of flying and trains, and when we walked in, we felt like we were at home! Alessandra was so nice, and helped gave us great feedback on where all the local flair was. The studio apartment is perfectly quaint, with everything a couple would need to have a great get-away. The location was amazing, only a few blocks from all of the sightseeing... however, off the tourist track. It was also very close to the train station, so that made it convenient to stay here and make day trips to other parts of Italy and then return. We stayed for 6 nights, and felt like we left a part of there when we left. If you are looking to get off the tourist route, but still have many options of restaurants, scenery and really feel like you are living the Roman life, this is the perfect place.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the good judgment! I'm very happy that the stay was pleasant. Thanks to pleasing and careful guests who have also noticed some features that I appreciate, as the central location and close to tourist spots but quiet, and the perception of being at home, even in a small studio

"This is a great studio, small but perfectly sufficient for 2 people, right in the centre of a lovely part of Rome. Easy to walk to the centre (about 15 minutes from Trevi Fountain), with plenty of facilities nearby - supermarket, lots of lovely small shops, pizzerias, restaurants etc and Cavour metro station 5 minutes walk away. The studio is lovely and clean and well equiped. This is the third time we have stayed at the studio and we have always been very happy here. Considering it''s in central Rome, it is very quiet. Alessandra, the owner, has always been very kind and helpful. This time we were staying during very cold conditions (snow for much of the time!) and she was able to help us out at short notice allowing us to stay at the studio a few days earlier than we had booked it (luckily it was free). We will be back again!"

"We would like to recommend this studio to anyone coming to visit Rome. It is in the heart of the city, it is very clean and very well equiped with more than what you need as tourist. It was obviously that Alessandra knows what tourists need and she welcomed us very nice. As we are convinced to come back to Rome we certainly shall stay again in this studio!!!

Car: not necessary

It is possible to reach via del Boschetto from Stazione Termini ( it is the central train station of Rome) using the underground and getting off in “ Via Cavour “ (it takes about 5 minutes).

It is possible to reach the flat by car on Sundays or after six p.m. when the historical centre is open to the cars. However, it is always possible to park your car in via degli Annibaldi ( about 300 m. from the house). At fifty metres from the flat there is the bus stop of the bus number “117”. It is a little electric bus that arrives to piazza di Spagna in less than ten minutes.

In Rione Monti is possible to taste Italian, Indian and Japanese food, as well as a fantastic pizza and a nice glass of wine.

It is possible to rent a byke or a motor byke.
