This is a peaceful and quiet place, away from the noise of the city, but only five to ten minutes from one of the main arteries of Malaga, close to the beaches which have places where you can play beach volleyball and football, as well as an area of typical fish restaurants.Only 15 minutes from the historical, commercial and cultural centre of the city. The city of Malaga is an outbreak of colour, light, music and joy when their celebrations of Carnivals, Holy Week, Festivity of San Juan, Festivity of Our Lady Virgen del Carmen, Malaga Fair, City's Patron Saints' Days, Christmas are celebrated. And in where their folkloric gastronomy (tapas), customs and traditions like the flamenco one can be known first hand.

A fast and easy access to the Barcelona-Cadiz freeway, which allows you to visit the surrounding villages of our province (Ronda, Nerja, Marbella, Antequera, etc.) and also Granada, Córdoba, Sevilla and Cádiz.

I'm a librarian because I like people and books. And I think that books help us and make us free.

But every time I like nature and the countryside, especially to see and take care of mango trees and avocado farm that my brothers and I have received from our parents.

What makes this house unique

The house is surrounded by nature, where we can breathe clean air, walk or hike, observe the small birds of the garden like the blackbirds, and the larger birds that fly from the rocks of Monte San Antón in search of food. All seasons are good for watching nature.

The Finca is surrounded by a Mediterranean landscape represented by the Monte de San Antón at the East (protected landscape), and limits to the North with the Natural Park of the Montes de Málaga. At the same time, the house is close to the beaches, 3 km. From the terrace, facing south, you can see the Mediterranean Sea.

But we are not lost in the world. We are far enough from the city to relax, but close enough to combine visits to the center of Malaga or the neighborhoods of Pedregalejo and El Palo. Far enough away from the airport and the train station to be quiet, but without having to spend more than 20 minutes to reach them. The A-7 motorway that connects us with all of Andalusia and with all of Spain is only 2.5 km away. Of the estate.

And all this combined with the possibility of doing sports on the property: swimming pool, non-professional tennis, ball games, hiking, etc. Or play in the garden. Or in the beaches.

The SECOND BEDROOM (15 square meters) has 3 beds 90cm, a 3-door wardrobe, 1 bedside table with lamp and a chest of drawers with drawers. The furniture is wooden the Spanish manner. We're providing our guests the equipment for 3 babies. The kitchen has a vitroceramic hotplate, a kitchen sink , 1micro wave, and a combi (fridge freezer). Besides the household consists of kitchen pots and pans of various sizes anti adhesive, plancha, a strainer, a mixer , kitchen shears and a washing machine in the outside. Plates and bowls, dessert plates, dishes, cutlery individually cutlery to serve, water glasses, cups.

Lovely property in convenient location

The house is really lovely and well equipped. The location is ideal not too far from the motorway to explore the surrounding area.

Matilde and Juan Carlos could not have been more kind and went to extraordinary lengths to ensure we had everything we needed.

We enjoyed evenings on the huge enclosed terrace which was a safe environment for a toddler to play.

Couldn't recommend this too highly if you want somewhere in the country but accessible to all amenities.

Fantastic welcoming hosts in a very private location

A comfortable property with all the essentials for a pleasnt stay. Matilde and Juan Carlos were such accommodating hosts - nothing was too much trouble but totally discreet. We felt at home and no intrusions from the other residents. The pool and surrounds were really well maintained and the gardens were delightful. The finca is close to the village but up a very steep unmade up track - ok for keen walkers otherwise a car is essential.

Great house for a relaxing family holiday

We had a lovely stay at the sailor house. The house is very spacious and clean and the air conditioning and large shady terrace were very welcome in the hot weather. The location was great: closed to Malaga, beaches and the motorway to visit places but in a quiet location . Beautiful garden, tennis court and nice swimming pool. Although there are two other holiday houses on the site, our house was very private .

Great wifi meant that our teenage daughter was happy too!

Matilde and Juan Carlos very very friendly and discreet hosts . Our flight was very late on Saturday and Matilde offered to buy supplies for us for the next day as supermarkets are closed on Sundays and Juan Carlos came to meet us ( the access to the house is quite complicated via a small streets and steep dirt road ).

Cleaning was also included which meant that you truly make the most of your stay!!

Highlights apart from the house were.

- dolphin trip in Benalmadena

- Nerja beach and Frigiliana

- beautiful reservoir near Ardales

Great Family Holiday in Malaga

Irish Family with 4 young children had a wonderful holiday at this property, we would recommend this property to stay in Malaga especially if your not into the touristy apartment block/bar scene and would prefer a private, quiet, spacious, clean and well furnished property in the country but still within 10 minutes drive from the centre of Malaga and a few minutes spin to the closest beach. The kids especially loved the swimming pool, tennis court and all the space around the property. We stayed 10 days and we wished we could have stayed longer. What great hosts Juan Carlos, Matilda and Family are, they were very accommodating to our late arrival and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely return as soon as we possibly can.

Super séjour en famille

Nous avons unanimement apprécié le calme et la beauté de ce site. Un grand merci à Juan Carlos et Mathilde pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur disponibilite. La location est très bien située par rapport aux plages ( 3kms) et au centre de Malaga (9 kms). Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute.
