Nice compact apartment close to lifts.
The property is very clean and well maintained. All the furniture, beds, kitchen are all in good condition. The property has a parking space and easy access to lifts and main slopes. There is ski and boot storage. All in all a very nice. Thank you.
A spacious, well equipped apartment in a very good location.
The property is in a good location and there are three access points to different lifts which take you to the ski area of Signal, Bergers and close to the main DMC lift. The apartment is spacious, well furnished, cosy and well equipped. This is the second time I have used this apartment and on arrival it has been spotlessly clean. The kitchen equipment is easy to use without wading through manuals. For English people using the apartment I would say that having a few TV channels in English would have been wonderful, so at least you could listen to the news. Not having wifi was less of an issue as there are lots of places offering free wifi including the tourist office. It is a shame that you have to provide your own bedding and towels which occupy a lot of space when flying to France. I am not sure whether this could be arranged as I can imagine that it would put people off hiring the apartment if they are flying. Whilst we didn't use the car parking space I am sure that for most French people this must be a real attraction as car parking is quite expensive in the resort.
There is a large Spar shop close to the apartment which stocks everything you would need for self catering. Also close by are a variety of bars and restaurants.
There were just two adults sharing the apartment but it could easily take 2 adults on the sofa bed in the lounge and 2/3 children in the bunk beds which are as you come into the apartment and are separated by a door to the lounge. In this entrance area there is lots of storage space. The round wooden knobs by the side of the front door were not good for hanging our ski jackets and trousers on as they kept slipping off. Hooks would have been so much better.
The main window is full length and the width of the apartment and opens onto a balcony with table and chairs. This makes the main room very light and bright. Outside there is a lane which is used by mainly walkers and so the apartment was very peaceful. The electric shutter provided additional security and privacy at night.
Despite a few shortcomings which could be easily rectified I would have no reservations in booking this apartment again. The owners were very prompt in replying to my queries and instructions on accessing the apartment were sent in English.
Thank you for your review. According to the bed linen and bath clothes, because most of our renters are French they don't want to pay an extra charge for them. We cannot find somebody to provide bed linen and bath clothes for one or two times per year.
Nevertheles you can rent them in a laundry in Alpe d(Huez. If you wish to come back, please contact us and we will give you the address of the shop which rent linen.

The hiring of the apartment was timely & well managed. It should be noted, however, gaining access to the flat requires some effort should you arrive by coach transport. The coach stops are located some distance from the apartment & involve a relatively steep climb from the central bus stop in the town.
The apartment was clean & well furnished. Although there are 5 beds, 3 are located in the entrance hall & the double bed is located in the lounge thus limiting privacy.
We would recommend, however, that you arrange to have a representative see
you in & out of the accommodation to confirm any possible damages. We were aggrieved to learn some 6 days after vacating the flat that we were being charge the full the full Damage Deposit for damage that we had not committed. The cleaner apparently reported the damage. We were extremely dismayed to read that the owner was insinuating that the reputedly damaged table in question was worth 730 Euros & that it could not be repaired. This action is highly suspicious, unacceptable & will of course be contested with the Credit Card Company in question. Consequently, we will obviously not consider using this flat again.
Distance de l'arrêt de bus à l'appartement : l'arrêt de bus se trouve en bas de la station et donc relativement loin de tous les appartements de l'Alpe d'Huez. La majorité de nos locataires viennent en voiture et disposent d'un parking privé devant l'immeuble
Intimité limitée : une porte sépare les 2 pièces que voulez-vous de plus ? Un plan vous a été envoyé, vous avez donc loué en connaissance de cause
Table cassée : nous avons changé la table en décembre 2013 par une table neuve avec dessus céramique payée 716,5 €. Le contrôle de l'appartement est fait par la femme de ménage, elle a trouvé que le plateau en céramique avait été ébréché (environ 4cm de long et 5mm de large) sur un coté. Peut être ne vous en êtes vous pas rendu compte car le plateau est en céramique de couleur marron foncé et repose sur un cadre noir. Nous sommes allés voir le vendeur de la table pour savoir s'il était possible de la réparer. Quelques jours après, il nous a indiqué que le plateau était collé donc non réparable et qu'il fallait changer toute la pièce ce qui coûterait pratiquement le prix d'une table neuve. De plus si nous renvoyons la table en réparation, nous ne pouvons plus louer l'appartement sans table. Il faut donc ajouter au prix de la réparation : le manque à gagner pour les locations perdues plus 2 aller et retour à l'Alpes d'huez pour prendre et ramener la table. Le vendeur de la table doit nous envoyer un devis pour la réparation. Nous vous avons envoyé un email dès que nous avons eu ces informations vous expliquant pourquoi nous gardions la caution

Excellent Location and comfortable
I have book this apartment for the last two years for a pre-Christmas skiing holiday and it has been ideal for both trips. On both trips we had 4 people and the apartment was clean and tidy, with all the facilities you need for a self catered stay. The location of the apartment as it is very close to the centre of town however it is not noisy at all. Further to this the apartment entrance is about 50m walk from the slope, (snow permitting) the transfer lift is also reasonably close by. To sum up the apartment is ideal for a small group which want to ski without the hassle.
Appartement très bien équipé et très bien situé. Proximité commerces, accès et retours pistes pratiques.
