Welcome to Bainbridge Island! We are happy to share our cozy little cottage with visitors from near and far who come to find out what island living is all about! Just a beautiful 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle and a short 3 mile drive or cab ride from the Bainbridge Ferry terminal, leave your mainland worries behind and come stay in this quaint, well-cared-for 1930s farmer's cottage. The views of Mount Rainier and Puget Sound from all the rooms in the house are soothing and spectacular. The bed is a full-sized bed (smaller than a queen) due to room size restrictions. There is also a full-sized sofa (pull-out) bed. Enjoy fresh-brewed Pacific Northwest coffee every morning as you watch the eagles soar over the Bay, then go for a walk along Manitou Beach, just a 2 minute stroll down the hill. Head to island favorite Bay Hay & Feed for morning coffee, pastries and conversation, just 8 minutes away, and while you’re there check out their amazing plants, garden supplies, and general store.
The Northwest is meant to be moist, so if it's raining you can hole up in the cottage with board games or a movie, but if you're adventurous (or you come in the summer, and it's gorgeous) grab a complimentary umbrella and head out to explore all the island has to offer. The Bloedel Reserve or Bainbridge Gardens will delight with their botanical wonders. Sample some of our seven island wineries or spend the day checking out the art galleries and shops along Winslow Way. In the evening, enjoy dinner in Winslow or nearby Lynwood Center, pick up some amazing Italian take-out from nearby Via Rosa (1/2 mile from the cottage), or make a meal in our cozy but well-stocked kitchen. At night meet up with friends at one of the island pubs, enjoy a movie at one of the two island cinemas, or hit the blackjack table or dance floor at nearby Suquamish Clearwater Casino, just across the Agate Pass Bridge connecting the island to the Kitsap Peninsula.
Speaking of the Peninsula, use Bainbridge as your home base while you explore surrounding Northwest favorites like Poulsbo (aka Little Norway on the Fjord), Port Gamble with its 1850s logging town activities, Port Townsend with its historic Victorian charm and the amazing Olympic National Forest.

Stay here! You’ll love it!
It was our 52nd anniversary and we had never been to Bainbridge Island even though we have lived in the Everett area for 48 years! Crazy we know! We only stay in vrbo’s now and this was one of our favorites!!!! So comfortable and Andrea had so many special touches. It was one of our rare sunny weekends in January so we sat on the front deck and had coffee and looked at Mt Rainier. Seattle city lights at night! We went to come back this summer and stay here again!
Adorable, well-appointed cottage in an awesome Bainbridge location
Everything we needed was there, including a fridge stocked with water bottles. Waking distance to the water and some fun local shopping.
The cottage was charming and cozy with a beautiful deck and easy access to the beach.
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It is charming, cozy, and convenient. Perfect base for exploring the island. Walkable to beach and coffee shop. Loved it!
The cozy cabin was perfect. It reminded me a lot of my childhood home in West Seattle.
We would gladly stay again. The attention to detail and the great location made our stay perfect. We went to Fay Bainbridge State Park to beachcomb and watch the boats on Puget Sound. We went back three times. We took a day trip to Port Angeles to have lunch and sightsee.
the area was lovely with water access just down the road
We had a great stay even with a few big bumps, the plumbing had issues an dthe owners did refund some of the money which was fair and gracious given that they offered with out me asking. Some one was on sight right away to take care of the problem. Sometimes stuff happens and it was handled beautifully so that our stay could still be enjoyable. very comfy bed and super sweet location and interior space. If you have a dog who loves to sit on a deck this is a no brainer. Grateful to have found it and will likely stay again!
Beautiful View and Pleasant Stay
We had a very enjoyable time. The nights were cool enough in early June that windows could be left open to the sea air! Neighbors were quiet and courteous. The only downside was the shower door, it allowed water to pool unto the bathroom floor. Otherwise the cottage was clean, tidy and situated a short walk from the beach. The owner was very polite and helpful!
