Enter this gorgeous home by crossing a footbridge over a gurgling creek cascading down from the snow capped mountains. With beautiful Red Oak floors throughout, it was designed by a prominent Harvard architect and built just fifteen years ago.
With approximately 2,400 square feet of living space, our home has three bedrooms and two and a half baths. The master bedroom (with private deck)and bathroom (shower)are downstairs and two family bedrooms, (Queen + Two Twins) and a marble bath (tub) are upstairs.
The large great room has wall to wall windows and two decks overlooking the mountain creek and is highlighted by a pass through fireplace surrounded in marble and a large screen TV (satellite). The dining room, on the other side of the fireplace, has an oversize pine table that expands to seat eight comfortably.
The kitchen has a Jenn Aire range, double oven, dishwasher, microwave and double sink (with disposal) set in front of a large picture window. A laundry room and half bath are also on the first level.
The entryway is spectacular - a two story cathedral type ceiling with lots of windows.
The house is located on five+ acres on a private lane at the foot of the Mission Mountain Range approximately ten miles south of Polson, Montana and Flathead Lake. It is surrounded by woods and mountains and completely private yet close to everything.
Completely furnished, it is a perfect place for someone looking to get away from it all and get back to nature. In addition, there are many local places of interest nearby. There is a beautiful lake set up in the mountains which is a perfect place for a hike and/or picnic. There is a wildlife preserve for nature lovers. Flathead Lake and all that it has to offer is just 20 minutes away. Kalispell and Big Fork are a wonderfully scenic hour drive away and Glacier National Park is about one and a half hours away.
In the winter time, there is downhill skiing in the area and what better than to curl up in front of the fireplace with a good book?
Free high speed internet and WIFI on site and free satellite TV.

We loved our stay in this hidden gem. It has everything you will need for an unforgettable family vacation. We love to cook and entertain for our Montana family, so a well equipped kitchen is a must, this one had everything we needed. The location is perfect, close to all our favorite places...National Bison Range, Nine Pipes Museum, Lakes, restaurants and shopping. The house is warm and inviting, beautiful inside and out. We travel extensively and it really is one of the most beautiful places we have had the pleasure of visiting. Linda was amazing and paid attention to every detail.
This is a beautiful well appointed home nestled into the trees only five minutes away from Ronan and Sky Ridge Ranch. It was perfect for our wedding party and entertaining guests. Well thought out floor plan has doors between the living room and bedrooms so that early risers are not disturbed by those who want to stay up later, a very nice/appreciated feature.
We lacked for nothing in the kitchen, preparing several large meals very successfully. Filtered water is furnished, though the Rocky Mountain water from the tap was great as is.
Bedrooms have great closets and adequate dressers and nightstands for all of your belongings. The master bathroom is luxurious, and all the bathrooms are comfortable and well appointed. The restroom off of the entry/foyer is very accessible and appreciated. The upstairs bathroom, though shared, is more than adequate for the two bedrooms and guests.
The mattresses and bedding were great, lots of towels in the bathrooms, clean, clean, clean throughout.
The deck is well situated and adequate for a party of maybe a dozen people, more with peripheral seating which is provided for.
Full disclosure: the driveway is hard to deal with, there is very little parking. We were challenged with a pickup and two sedans. It is difficult to back out of, there is no room to turn around. The owners need to clear some trees out to make this less of a challenge to get into and out of without vehicle damage. There is no place for an RV or trailer, this is for passenger cars or light pickups only.
We had a great time spending our 40th wedding anniversary in Montana. Linda's Mountain Creek Lodge home was amazing. So clean and comfortable. It was wonderful to come home to after a long day touring the area's beautiful attractions. The peace and quiet is what makes Linda's home a jewel, plus the architectural beauty and comfort of the home itself, nestled in the woods. I would highly recommend it. Thank you Linda for helping us every step of the way, sharing your home with us and making our anniversary a great memory! Tom and Mary
This property was everything and more than was even advertised. Firstly, our communication with our host, Linda was just phenomenal from pre-booking until we returned home. This home was literally equipped with everything from laundry detergent to coffee and creamer in the fridge. Home was gorgeous, amazing wildlife on the property daily, plenty of firewood on either side of the fireplace, tons of linens; the kitchen had everything to prepare Thanksgiving dinner for 12 , if one so chose. We've stayed at 15-20 VRBO home rentals over the past 10 or so years. This by far was the best property, especially for the price!
There is enough to do in Ronan and surrounding town to keep you busy for a month's time: The National Bison Range in Ronan, Flathead Lake/Kalispell up north, Driving-to-the Sun Rd 90 min drive Missoula < hr south. Garnet Ghost Town 30 miles West of Missoula...tons of hiking, sightseeing, etc.
Just cannot say enough about our experience--both with the actual property itself and everything else!!
Found this house outside of Ronan, only minutes from Flathead Lake. My daughter was getting married on a ranch outside of Ronan and I was trying to find a house for her Ohio family and much to my amazement found this delightful house. It was only 2 miles from the ranch so our many trips to ranch preparing for the wedding/reception was a god send. The house is gorgeous and very homey, loved the creek right outside the living room French doors! Linda was very responsive which made our stressful time much more enjoyable. Hope we will be able to stay again under less stressful circumstances.
My family stayed her for a full week. Beautiful setting and amazing house. Very comfortable. Nothing is lacking. Owner Linda is awesome, responsive, and a joy to communicate with!
