Perfect getaway cabin
This cabin is perfect for a getaway in the woods yet has all of modern conveniences you need to feel at home. The cabin was clean and well stocked with pots, pans, and glasses so you won't have to bring your own supplies. The little village of Redstone is welcoming and well worth the visit. I highly recommend you visit this treasure in the woods!
Beautiful spacious log house in the mountains
From the road this looked like a small log cabin, but when we stepped inside it was a spacious house with all the modern amenities. There was a well-equipped kitchen, 3 lovely full bathrooms and 4 roomy bedrooms, plus everything was spotlessly clean. The large family room with satellite TV was cozy and inviting. Owners are nearby and quickly helped us when we locked ourselves out one evening while we were enjoying the tree-lined deck. We visited in the summer, but winter guests would also find this a wonderful peaceful retreat.
Really enjoyed our stay over Labor Day. The house was spacious, comfortable and relaxing. The surrounding area is beautiful. The house was straightforward to find using Google Maps. Accessing the place was no problem in a Subaru Outback, but might have been slightly challenging in something like a sports car.
We had no problem finding the house or getting in. Love the views. Great place to stay only 15 to 30 minutes from all the fun you can handle.
Cozy and clean!
We enjoyed our stay in Redstone and loved learning about the towns History. The Cabin is adorable and there was plenty of space for our whole family.
The cabin had plenty of space, was well appointed and was a great place for our family to get away and relax. We loved sitting on the deck, looking at the mountains and listening to the river below. The Redstone area is beautiful and we are very glad that we visited.
One thing to be aware of is that the dirt roads leading up to the cabin are tight, bumpy and fairly steep so take that into consideration. We rented a full size sedan and we bottomed out many times in our trips up and down the hill. This wasn't much of an issue for our trip in June but if it happens to be raining or snowing it might be a different story.
We're glad you enjoyed your stay. The road gets graded periodically through the subdivision, I'm sorry there was so many pot holes during your stay, it's normally not a problem for anyone.
