There are large egress windows in each bedroom for both safety and air movement and, awning windows in the family and dining areas to take advantage of natures air conditioning on those hot summer days and nights.
Michigan is blessed with four seasons of sports and activities to match so, whether it's fishing & boating, skiing and snowmobiling, or Fall colors and hunting or plain old touring & wine tasting there's something for everyone. We have a list of area golf courses and other points of interest, in the cabin for your convenience and, we encourage you to add to that list if there's something else that catches your fancy.
We want your stay to be so enjoyable that you'll return year after year and reminisce with friends and family about the great times at RiversMeet!
Owner has lived on River for 25 Years and is within minutes of the rental.
Dan @ BD Electrical purchased this house in 2013
Its the only property with sandy beach and hard river bottom. 5 Minute cruise to Torch Lake Sandbar
Boat launch / Marina / Restaurant all within 2 minute drive. Easy access to everywhere!
This was a wonderful vacation home for our family. Lots of things to do right out the front door. Paddle boating, playing on the beach, swimming to the sand bar, and fishing were just some of the things we did. The main sand bar is only a few minutes away by boat. Overall we had an amazing experience and look forward to our next vacation!
Wonderful experience from start to finish!! Beautiful, clean home...friendly & accommodating landlord and management team! Amazing views and amenities!! VERY private yet you get to experience all the friendly boaters cruising by, giving their boater waves!! The dock is perfect for a decent sized boat or a couple jet skis, kayaks, SUPs, etc.!!! Tons of nature to enjoy!!! Short, relaxing cruise to Torch Lake!!! Very peaceful! I would live here if I could!!!
Thank you Jeff & Dan!!!!
Super nice cottage, all new inside, felt very comfortable, like home. Owner went above and beyond for us, we were unfortunate to have bad weather the day we came but he was on it!! First time on river, we liked it better than being on the Lake, would do that again in a heartbeat!!
Place was nice just like last year. Weather was good for most of the stay and everything went smoothly. Check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhuvxn9v1O4
for a video tour of the area
Great location quite but close to all the action, house was like brand new with plenty of room.
We rented the house from 8/15/14-8/24/14 and had a fantastic time. I have been to torch lake and knew the area well so when I saw this listing I knew it was in the perfect location for us. It is right down the corner from the torch river boat launch and the torch lake boat launch. We are big waterskiers so when we wanted to waterski we headed down torch river for a 20 min (approx.) cruise to skegemog or elk lake (depending upon wind direction). We headed to the sand bar for fun for a few days which is just a couple of bends down the corner. It is about 35 min or so from Traverse City so we went there for a couple of evenings and hit the casino one time which was even closer. The place has had some good updates and is very nice and clean. The pictures accurately show everything in the house. We used the paddleboat to head down the river a bit a few times and there was a canoe for our use as well. The weather was nice for most of our stay and we plan on renting it again next year for sure!
