Built in 1860, the 2,000 sqft fully renovated 2 story colonial with its new addition of post and beam family room is the perfect place to spend a wonderful vacation in the Berkshires. The 0.5 acre professionally designed garden offers a beautiful view from the stone patio with Tom Ball Mountain in the background.

Two bedrooms include en suite bathrooms, the third has an adjacent bathroom. Two staircases provides more privacy.
For indoor entertainment there is SmartTV with wifi connection and for outdoor recreation the Williams River is across the street, village of Housatonic is a mile away, West Stockbridge is a few minutes north.
Within 10 minutes of Great Barrington and Stockbridge, 15 minutes to Tanglewood.
Everything couldn't have been more perfect. Beautifully designed home, super comfortable, spacious, just a few minutes from Great Barrington. Highly recommended.
This is a beautiful, classy, comfortable, clean clean house and graceful garden where we had a wonderful stay in the beautiful Berkshires. The house is centrally located -we went to three theatre, three museums, hiked up Monument Mountain- AND sat and read in the cozy living room watching fierce thunder storms roll through. Great grocery store and farmer's produce nearby. Best vacation ever!!
We stayed at this beautiful place for two weeks this summer and enjoyed every minute. The house is bright , spacious and stylishly renovated; it feels almost like living in an Edward Hopper painting. The house is extremely well appointed, and the location is perfect. Tanglewood, The Mount, The Clark, Jacob's Pillow and various other places of interest are within easy reach. Lake Mansfield and other opportunities to swim and hike are close. The beautiful garden and porches are perfect places to rest after a day of activity. And if you need any help or information, the manager of the property, Ken Benson, is the most kind and helpful person you can imagine.
We had a wonderful stay & vacation---fun, peaceful, relaxing. It's an elegant beautiful home w/ comfortable bedrooms, very clean, nice kitchen, living room is great for a board game, movies, reading or napping. Being sensitive to smells (I will admit) I appreciated the nice scented liquid soap in each bathroom and recognized how clean the bathrooms and meticulously kept is the house. We brought yard games which our kids did daily in the nice large backyard. Bugspray is a necessity or at least for us at the time we were there. We brought a bike and they were kind to lend use of theirs too at the house but because the house is on a main road I didn't feel it the safest for our kids to venture out on bikes. If you have toddlers, there are two staircases. Our 4 children ranged from age 9 to 16 so running out onto main street wasn't a worry for us but would be if my kids were very young. We enjoyed a great hike of mount monument and swam @ Lake Mansfield and Stockbridge Bowl--Both close by with beach areas. Town of Great Barrington is just a few min drive away which is nice shoppes, ice cream, candy store, and several good restaurants. We did Bosquet mountain zipline, go carts, climbing adventure, water slides, Norman Rockwell museum & Jacob's pillow free outdoor performance. We would definitely recommend this house. It's a great location to hit highlights that the Bershire's has to offer. Ken, the manager of this home was super helpful and kind.
We were thrilled the minute we walked into the house. Just like the pictures. Nice big kitchen. Fabulous family room off kitchen. We never used the formal dining room or living room. We used only two of the three bedrooms and each bedroom had an updated bath. The backyard is beautiful but we hardly used it because we were always off doing something. This is the perfect location if you want to do things in Stockbridge, Lenox or Great Barrington. Go to Berkshire Mountain Bakery. 5 mins away. Barrington Brewery and Allium were great. Everything is minutes away. Rockwell Museum, Chesterwood, The Mount, Tanglewood. The only drawback was the lack of good tools in the kitchen. Great Viking stove but not much in the way of utensils and limited plates and glasses. Also bring your own pillows. We would definitely recommend this rental to anyone. Ken, the property manager was around if we had questions but we never had occasion to contact him.
