This lakefront estate offers two separate vacation rental suites set on a beautiful vineyard with breathtaking view of Okanagan lake, a few hundred feet lakefront with a private beach, and lots of open space. Perfect for a weekend getaway or a longer stay for a couple, family, or larger group!
Our vacation rental suites are located in the lower level of this beautiful Naramata Bench log home. But don’t worry! Big windows and the walk right out onto the yard and vineyard make this suite feel more like its on the main level. You’ve got a queen-sized bed and there is a queen-sized pullout couch for extra guests. For those who want a bit of screen time, there is a flat-screen TV with cable, and high-speed WiFi.
If you are looking for a bit more living space, there is an extra rec room just beside this suite that you can add on to your rental. It has a couple of couches, foosball table, shuffleboard table, a kids games table, and a chess and checkers board and backgammon to keep you busy. And more games are on their way!
The kitchenette is small, but it gets the job done. An small fridge, two induction cook-tops, large toaster oven, toaster, microwave, kettle, coffee-maker and pots/pans and dishes are there to help you prepare basic and more than basic meals. We don’t have an oven, but to make up for it there is BBQ outside. And of course, we wouldn’t have a vineyard without wine glasses and a decanter to help you enjoy your loot!
If this doesn’t sound like enough space for your group, we also offer a two bedroom suite on the same level of the home. It has a master bedroom with a queen bed, second bedroom with a full sized bed and set of twin bunks, and a living area with a queen pullout couch. It also has a larger kitchen/dining/living area and some more outdoor space to enjoy. For more information, check out that listing at VRBO Listing #/589915.
Enough about the indoor space! Chances are you’ll want to relax in the beautiful Naramata bench outdoors. You’ve got your own quaint, private patio with a small outdoor dining area. Just outside your suite is a plum tree that creates a beautiful shady outdoor area with a few Adirondack chairs to relax in. There is a very large yard, and 3.5 acres of vines for everyone to enjoy. We are also lucky to have a few hundred feet of lakefront! To get down to our private, natural beach you’ll have to take a bit of a walk down our dirt road. It takes about 10 minutes to walk down and there’s a bit of an incline, but we think its well worth it!
The Naramata and Penticton area has so much to enjoy. Explore nearby wineries and restaurants for a taste of the best the region has to offer. Enjoy local festivals, weekly farmers markets, wine tours. Explore local boutiques for a sample of some local culture. The town centre of Naramata is only about 10 minutes away, and beautiful downtown Penticton is less than 15 minutes away.
If exercise is more your speed, this estate is situated along the Kettle Valley Railway trail, with hundreds of kilometres of cycling paths extending across British Columbia. Access to the trail is just a short ride away. Hit the water for some paddling, boating, fishing or swimming. We are only minutes away from Penticton, conveniently located for the Pentiction Challenge Triathalon, and 40 minutes from Apex Mountain Ski resort. This lakefront home is perfectly located for an active summer or winter getaway.
Whether relaxing in wine country or training for the Ironman, this is the ideal place to call home during your stay.
Great location. Very clean and functional space. We have stayed twice and that says it all.
The private, natural beach was the icing on the cake. We walked down each of the three days we stayed at the Sandy Side Suite. The small kitchen was perfect for making breakfast, picnic lunches and the BBQ grilled our dinners.
We enjoyed the quiet, private outdoor space for our morning coffee and our evening glass of wine. The suite itself was spacious and comfortable and met all our needs.
For starters the owners gave the impression that they lived in "our home" but in fact the upstairs was occupied by renters or short-term guests. Children running around inside and on the deck above are distractingly loud, the wood floor acting as a drum. The description of main-level feeling being created by "big windows" is simply false: this is a dark ground-level room with small windows set high on the walls. It's reminiscent of a basement suite for a student, with mismatched furniture and a stained reclining chair. The kitchen is minuscule. Admittedly pleasant wall colours and a nice touch: a bottle of wine on the table. The lighting in the bathroom is terrible. Earlier reviews mention shower issues, which have not been resolved. Not much better outside. When we arrived there were a broken bamboo blind and toppled-over dessicated potted plant to greet us just outside the door. Two (strangely uncomfortable) Adirondack-style chairs under the plum tree were pleasant enough to sit in, but bizarrely, the automated lawn sprinklers came on at 7:00 am two mornings out of the four, drenching the chairs and forcing a retreat into the gloom. As for the private beach that was represented as desirable for day-long lingering, the description would be laughable if the reality were not so pathetic: a grubby rocky patch of murky lakefront at the end of a steep dusty track, with zero charm and entirely unappealing to human swimmers. One star for the view. Would have been two but the sprinklers dampened the experience. Naramata area is gorgeous though. Find another place to stay.
I have rated this property 3 stars out of 5 due to its lovely location and view from the suite. The suite itself could use some improvements however it was clean and modest.
Shower head would not stay in place and sprayed my companion in the face and got water all over bathroom.
Pull out sofa was old and very difficult to get out, definitely a two person job. The mattress needs replacing as it sags in the middle.
There were a couple of ants we saw in the room.
The suite had very hot water, have to be careful not to get scalded, and water temp in the shower did not stay consistent.
The grounds did need some TLC
It was a basic modest clean property with a lovely view of the lake
We were very pleased to find a great accommodation that was pet friendly. The property is beautiful. It was the perfect jumping off point for wine touring in the Naramata and it was close enough from the village of Naramata to enjoy some of it's shops and coffee shops. It also offered some relief from the heat for our dogs who are not used to 40 degree weather.
We greatly enjoyed our stay at your rental location! It was in a great location and had all the amenities needed. We especially enjoyed the access to the grill, comfortable bed, and ability to wander the vineyards and the beach below. Also so great to be able to have our two dogs with us! Thank you!

We are stuck in the prairies, so unfortunately we won't be there to enjoy the beautiful Naramata Bench with you. If there is anything you need, big or small, we do have a property manager in town available any time.
With 3.5 acres of vineyard, a huge yard, and private patios, everyone should have more than enough outdoor space to relax in. We ask all of our guests to be respectful of those renting our other vacation rental suite, as well as the long-term tenants living in the upper portion of the home. If a party is what you're looking for, our home is not the right spot for you. Please try to keep it quiet after about 10 or 11 pm.
