Enjoy peaceful seclusion only two hours northeast of the Twin Cities. This private, 4000-square-foot home is ideally located on 30 wooded acres - birch and pine - with over 500 feet of lakeshore. The property features a private tennis court - with a practice backboard and two basketball hoops - nestled in the woods. Built in the 1940s, the home reflects the character of its surroundings with pine floors, wood-paneled walls, and lots of windows.
Webb Lake is a clean, 790-acre lake ideal for fishing, swimming, and boating. When you are not on the lake, enjoy a game of tennis, horseshoes, or pool - or a walk on the one-half mile driveway. At the end of the day, relax in the hot tub, on the large deck, or in the screened-in porch. In the winter, enjoy cross-country skiing, ice fishing, and snowmobiling.
The cabin is just minutes away from golf, ski trails, restaurants, casinos - and canoeing/kayaking/fly fishing on the beautiful Namekagon or Saint Croix Rivers. Slightly longer ventures are Hayward, Wisconsin - 40 miles, Lake Superior - 60 miles, and Bayfield/Madeline Island - 115 miles.
With four large bedrooms, each with its own private bath, this home can easily accommodate several families - sleeping 15 or more guests.
No smoking, please!

We rented this cabin for a family weekend for a group of 14. The cabin was perfect for our needs and had a lot of space. There was plenty of seating for meals and the kitchen was very well stocked. The large living room was very inviting with a beautiful fireplace. Each bedroom was very large and convenient since each one had its own private bathroom. The property is very beautiful and we were able to enjoy the first snow of the season with a walk outside. The owner was very responsive to all of our questions and very easy to rent from. We would definitely rent again!!
We rented this cabin for a bachelor party weekend, and it was PERFECT for our party of 14! The deck was our home for most of the weekend with enough space for hanging out, playing bean bags, hot tubbing, a card table, and lots of food all the the same time. The weather was perfect the entire weekend. The owner was great to deal with and more than accommodating. Everything we needed, all in one location. A GREAT guys weekend. Could not have asked for a better place.
Our family of 14 enjoyed six wonderful days at this cabin. Great location and layout - plenty of room for everyone. It was great being right on the lake, the boat was so much fun. One day it rained but that was one of the best day of the vacation. We were all together enjoying the fireplace and playing games the entire day - some didn't even get out of their PJs! Nothing but praise for this place. Can't wait to go back!!
We had a blast at this cabin. The roomy open floor plan lent itself to some fantastic conversations well into the evening hours. The outdoor spaces, specifically the hot tub, massive deck, sauna and firepits would have been my favorite part of the weekend if the speed boat included in the cabin wasn't so fantastic. It was perfect for fishing, water skiing and watching the dozens of bald eagles that patrolled the skies. It was a fantastic weekend all around. I would highly recommend this location.
This place was amazing. Definitely will be returning. Owner was very kind and helpful. The cabin had everything and more then expected. Lake was very nice and fishing was great. We look foward to returning next year.
I stayed here with a large group of friends in early January during what will likely be one of the coldest weekends of the winter. Despite the chilly temps outside, there was nothing but comfort for all thirteen of us that weekend. From the independent thermostat controls in each room of the lodge to the cozy fireplace in the mainroom to the relaxing, outdoor hot tub no one was left out in cold.
And for those who enjoy cooking, every amenity can be found in the kitchen and dining areas. Cooking for a big group requires big dishes and the cabin comes stocked with all the pots, pans, and bakeware you might need. There is even a cuisinart food processor, a blender, and hand mixers for some added convenience. The dining table had more than enough room for all of us to share meals together and enjoy a scenic view of the wooded backyard and the frozen lake in the distance.
And even with a large group there is room for everyone to have their own space. We never felt crowded together and were able to break off into our own groups for games, puzzles, reading, or talking. The rooms were spacious and the beds easily accommodated all of us. There were no lines for the bathrooms either as there are several in the lodge which made coordinating showers and nighttime routines a non-issue.
During the weekend it was said several times that we have to come back during the summer and I share that sentiment 100%. The owners are very responsive and even called the night of check-in to make sure we had everything we needed. I can't recommend this location enough!
