2 Bedroom Condo Ocean Front Walk On Beach

Please come and spend some time at our Beautiful Oceanfront condo, situated on 3.5 acres of stunning waterfront property at Inn of the Sea Resort. Inn of the Sea is a beautiful family resort. Our privately owned condo surrounded by tall cedar trees, has breathtaking views of the Gulf Islands, as well as boat moorage. The dock is great for crabbing and fishing off of as well. The beach infront of our condo is mainly large flat stone and gravel. The public beach to the right of the property is a gravel beach good for wading and swimming.

Our fully equipped condo offers 1370 square feet of living space on 2 levels. We offer 2 bedrooms, 2 full 4-piece baths, kitchen, living room, dining room, fireplace, 2 balconies, and on-site laundry facility. The Main living area is located on the Top Floor and the second hotel style bedroom and bath are on the second floor. There are various Bar-b-que patios on site for your convenience.

Inn of the Sea is an ideal year round vacation getaway. It is very popular with families in the summer and as a secluded retreat in the winter. With the islands mild climate its a perfect place to get away. Inn of the Sea offers seaside recreation, peaceful relaxation, natural beauty, and tranquility. The resort is beautifully landscaped with rose gardens and lush greenery. During your stay you may see playful Otters and Seals, Hummingbirds, Great Blue Herons fishing, Bald Eagles soaring, and maybe even Orcas swimming through the channel. Time can be spent beachcombing, checking out the starfish, kayaking, fishing and crabbing, or just lazing in and around the heated pool and hot tub.

We are located 20 minutes South of Nanaimo, 70 minutes to Victoria and 10 minutes from the town of Ladysmith.

BC Ferries, Duke Point terminal and Nanaimo Regional Airport are only ten minutes away.

About Tammy Beach

Being from the East Coast, my husband and I love the ocean. We have always dreamed of owning an ocean front property and last year we made that dream come true. It was the best decision we have ever made. We try to escape to the island with our kids as much as we can.

Why Tammy Beach chose Vancouver Island

We discovered this property a few years ago when we were searching for a waterfront vacation rental that allowed pets. We found paradise, it had everything we were looking for and more.....needless to say we bought a condo there and now want to share what we have found.

What makes this condo unique

Having a dock available to moore our boat is a huge advantage to us.

Our kids would say the Pool is there favorite thing.

And also we can bring our Pug Charlie on vacation.

Had a nice Family Day weekend here with our boys, one and three years old. Had a nice quiet time - they loved the play area !! Did some beach combing and a trip to Gina's Mexican Restaurant in Nanaimo. Thanks to Tammy for allowing us to be so last minute.

Wonderful time at Inn of the Sea

We spent 4 nights in Ladysmith at Inn of the Sea. It was just as we expected. Tammy was great to communicate with. The accommodations were great, but there was sooooo much to see and do in the area that we really spent very little time at the condo. It was spacious for the four of us (2 couples) and very clean. My husband enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The view of the ocean from the balcony was lovely, and the view from the shore was even nicer. There was no air conditioning (there was a fan), but when we were there (beginning of July) we did not need it. The occupants around us were very quiet. I would recommend this place to others, no problem.

Some of the enjoyable things nearby that we did that you should check out:

Rathtrevor Beach - can walk and beach comb for a couple kilometres before you actually hit the water

Whale watching in Cowichan Bay - a fabulous experience

The Old Bakery in Ladysmith - the best bakery we've ever been to with very reasonable prices; go for breakfast or lunch or take-out!

All the falls in the area!! (Little Qualicum Falls, Englishman River Falls, etc.) - spectacular scenery

Cathedral Grove - huge, old trees

Paradise Mini Golf - (Parksville?) - again, the best we've been to!

Goats on the Roof - market, Cuckoos restaurant, ice cream shop

Dinghy Dock floating pub - take the passenger ferry across to Protection Island

We really enjoyed our stay on the island and plan to go back to see what we missed!

Spent 5 days in the condo just prior to Easter break.

The unit was easy to find and get to from the Departure Bay Ferry, approximately 20 minute drive. Even though the complex is out of the way it is close enough to Ladysmith, Nanaimo etc to make trips. Being out of the way was an advantage as it was quiet with little to no noise. The resort in on the ocean , rocky beach with a park close by and well sheltered.

Try the pizza place in Ladysmith and bakery, well worth the trip.

We used our condo as a place to relax between trips to Parksville, Victoria, Chemainus and Salt Spring Island. All easy to get too.

Overall complex was excellent, grounds were well taken care off and the people were respectful.

Our unitwas clean and well supplied. Found the seating to be a little uncomfortable in the living room but overall everything else was excellent. The kitchen was well supplied with everything you required.

Very happy with our stay, was excellent to be allowed to have our dogs with us and would stay again if we are in the region.

Our family visit

We loved or stay here. The view is spectacular. The home is very cozy and has everything you need. They playground has everything for kids. They provided tennis rackets, badminton rackets, bocce ball, horseshoes.Tammy the homeowner was a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely return here anytime.

Lovely February long weekend

Our family had a wonderful time over a three-day weekend in February. Tammy was very easy to work with. The condo is clean, offers a lot of privacy from the neighbouring units, is very spacious, and has a partial view of the ocean (including from the main upper deck). The weather cooperated, and so our two children (ages 7 and 8) had a fantastic time going beachcombing with the dog twice a day at low tide, spending time on the playground, and playing soccer on the large grassy area. Lots of fresh air. As parents, we found it relaxing because we only needed to get in the car to buy groceries.
