Tranquil Waterfront Home, Well-Located Between Annapolis & Baltimore
About Cathie Trogdon
We are originally from the Seattle area but moved to Annapolis for work reasons over 20 years ago. The common theme of these two places across the country from each other is the WATER.
Cathie Trogdon purchased this House in 2008
What makes this House unique
We have lots of space to keep our boats. We are big on boating and love the water. We love the natural light that streams into the house and the dark wide-planked floor boards that feel very nautical. The masterbedroom suite is spacious and cosy at the same time. As soon as we walk into the house we begin to unwind.

Fit our needs perfectly, clean well appointed property with highly communicative host. Pleasantly surprised. Thanks
We had a wonderful time here! Lots of nice details and amenities. The master bedroom has a wonderful view and nice private balcony. House was clean and tidy. The hosts were responsive and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend it!
For us personally, we had 4 small kids, and the hosts were fine with them (I know not all hosts are). But we were nervous the whole time that they would break something (thankfully they didn’t). There was not necessarily a good place for them to be a little crazy. Was not the fault of the home or the hosts. Just a reality of our situation. They are on the water, so I’m not saying it’s not kid friendly. They have bunk beds which are great for kids. It was just trying at times not letting them run around the house the way they are used to. Not that everything felt breakable, it was just more breakable than what they are used to. Maybe we were too uptight...so just take from it what you will. If you have small kids, I’m not saying don’t stay here. Just plan accordingly.
Beautiful house with a fantastic view!!
This is the second time we have stayed at Cathie's home. It's a beautiful, well appointed house with a fantastic view!! We rented a motor boat and were on the water for hours every day. The drive to Annapolis is a quick 15-20 minutes away if you want to go out to dinner or tour the Naval Academy. Cathie is a pleasure to work with as the "property manager." We definitely hope to return in the future.
Lovely home, great setting
This was our second stay @ this wonderful location. The house is beautiful, with lots of light and great views of the water. The fenced-in yard is perfectly landscaped. Neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The pantry and cupboards are amazingly well-stocked for those who decide to stay in and make a meal (provide your own main ingredients, ofcourse, but the spices & extras are all there). The owner is so pleasant, and you really feel that you are home away from home. We are especially grateful that she welcomes dogs--they love the property as well. Shops and great grocery stores are nearby. Annapolis is an easy drive, and a wonderful little city. The Naval Academy is an incredible must-visit. If you are a gardener, and enjoy history, plan a tour of London Towne as well.
The property was absolutely lovely. The house had everything we could have asked for and more. Our group of five enjoyed the layout of the house and nautical theme and had plenty of room to be together or enjoy our seclusion. Everything was ready for us upon arrival and we felt more like we were guests than "renters". The location was convenient for grocery shopping and dining out. The marina is just next door which made for easy entry and exit of our boat. We enjoyed watching the local osprey family building its nest and feeding its young next door. The porch was perfect for morning coffee, afternoon naps and evening relaxation. We couldn't have asked for a better location, better property or better homeowners. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
We were so pleasantly surprised by the beautiful property and home- even better in person than on the website. the setting was great, with little to no surrounding neighborhood noise, except for the sailboats at the adjacent marina. The home was spotless, with the latest appliances and bathrooms. The bedrooms were comfortable, and it felt so relaxing to kick back and enjoy a movie with the great entertainment system. Having our 3 dogs with us, and a place for them to explore was especially appreciated. We will plan on another visit next year!!
