This Is A Beautiful Cabin House In The Yosemite Area With Many Things To Do...
Me and my husband we love the Yosemite, We are nature lovers and fell in love with this area on our first visit. Please feel free to ask questions about the area and hints and tips , we will do our best to answer them quickly.
Dumi purchased this Cabin in 2014
Why Dumi chose Groveland
This cabin is located in a small town and we love the town. Very nice area and has many things to offer as a small town. The Grocery stores are just 2 miles away and the Gas station is about 3 miles away.
What makes this Cabin unique
Very close to the Groceries , Gas stations, Restaurants, Lake etc.

A Gem in the Woods!
Our family (four adults and 3 children) absolutely loved this place. The house is better than the pictures. There is plenty of wood for a large group to eat, lounge in the living space and enjoy the outdoor deck. The linens and furniture are good and kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need. We even had a deer walk through the property and a family of California Quails come by. The Pine Lake community was perfect for swimming and kayaking. Finally, very close to Yosemite. We will be back.
Previous reviews tell it all.
PLM is a great place to stay. The cabin has a view of the lake. Dumi was very nice to speak to and we didn’t have any issues getting into the cabin. It was equipped with cooking utensils
Could be kept up a bit more
Grill was not very clean and rusted
Like other reviewers stated blinds did the patio door were broken so it was hard to try to get in and out of the patio.
It’s actually 2 bedrooms with a loft upstairs with 2 beds and a sofa bed and 1/2 bath. One of the beds upstairs had the frame broken so it was lop sided. Stairs to go up are carpeted and slippery when coming down. One of us did slip a few steps.
Take into consideration extra money to pay your entrance into PLM and 7 dollars per trash bag that you need to buy from their main building to dump your trash into a dumpster that’s not close by.
Thanks for the review we appreciated ..
Only thing I think we will make a small correction as upstairs master bedroom and loft are two different areas.. , most "A " frame cabins are same layout most times.. Master bedroom has two queens and and the loft has a pullout . Also as mentioned in VRBO it has 1.5 bath , nothing new about it. Again thank you and we appreciated the comments .
We will check the blinds . We replaced this blind many times
Comfortable, warm and in a pretty location; not well-stocked
We went for a weekend in the snow, but it is important to know that this actually is not a snow cabin. It is in the Pine Mountain Lake development, which is sort of like suburbia in the mountains (but pretty and quiet). The property is usually below the snow line, although it did snow there on our weekend. The house is fine and comfortable; it has a nice layout, and lovely outdoor yard and porch area, which is probably lovely in the summer. The heat worked well, and the stove is a nice. All appliances worked. The house was nicely cleaned. It had a big dining room table -- good for family dinners. But the house is dark and the carpet is quite old, and my bed seemed squishy and older. My two complaints, which are the reason for the 3 stars, are 1) the house and kitchen are not well-stocked for a VRBO property; and 2) there was no proper set of instructions in the house. As others noted, light bulbs were burned out. I spent 15 minutes looking for a light switch for the kitchen, until I realized both bulbs in the fixture were burned out. (I replaced them.) The are lots of forks, but a curious shortage of spoons. There are lots of glasses, but not one mixing bowl. There were several saute pans, but not one sauce pan. I had to boil water for pasta in a large saute pan. There was no colander. There was no foil or saran wrap or those kinds of supplies. There was no dish drainer, and there was literally one dish towel. One. I was trying to dry dishes with paper towels. It's like no one is paying attention to how a kitchen needs to be nicely stocked for weekend travelers. And, as an experienced VRBO renter, I am used to every house having a helpful set of instructions that tell you how to operate the TV and other electronics, what the channels are, where to put your garbage, what to do with the key, who to call if there is a problem, etc. There were actually two sets of "instructions" in this house, but both were very, very outdated, and as I found out, they gave wrong information (telling me to return the key to the front gate, which was wrong, and then the owner denied the instructions said that, even though I had just read them, several times). And we basically had no idea what to do with our garbage because the instructions made no sense, so we drove all the way home with the garbage in the back of the car. I would recommend that the owner just do some basic updating to make the place more welcoming and user friendly.
Thanks for the comments. As mentioned in our agreement we do not provide paper towels, Foil etc. We are very good in communicating and most times we do respond in few minutes . Before chk in we normally call the guest and explain all the details and email a PDF doc that explains what is provided and what is not. We tell our guest to read the instructions.
We explained where to take the trash/Garbage . Also we send a document explaining the location. This is a nicely maintain area therefore we would like to make sure that we dispose the trash at the correct place. Sometimes guest text us or call us to find the WiFi password , and if something is not clear about trash disposal , can do the same as well. We have plenty of pots and pans, cups , glasses , silverware .
we make sure we keep them up to date.
We are sorry the guest could not find the pots and pans that were in the cupboard.
We also keep extra light bulbs etc. Overall we try our best to do our best.
Perfect for families
We had a great time. If was perfect for our family and our dog.
Thanks Kristine .. We are glad that you had good time. Come again.
Nice owner/renter. The cabin itself is pretty run down and not taken care of. Spiders everywhere with webs, lots of light bulbs burnt out, house is dark, front door is extremely hard to open, bathroom door barely opens as it is sticks on floor, kitchen faucet sprays water all over, stairs are slippery and a hazard, we had several minor slip accidents. The pool table and foos ball are not in working condition. The upstairs bedroom window does not shut or lock, and the upstairs bathroom door doesn’t lock. On the upside, the Dish network worked well, heater was wonderful, and beds were comfy!
Guest was very nice ..

We have a very nice Deck , Brand new Oven/Stove, New AC/Heater.. , Dish and new flat TV , internet .. All worked well according to Guest.. We are going to check about the door .. There were many extra bulbs in the drawer also we personally checked them few days before the guest arrival. We try to do the best . Thanks ...
