About the property

A timeless stay in the heart of the Grands Causses

La Bergerie is an old building of 100m2 about being at the top of the village, on a large 900 m2 private garden with a swimming pool. Its orientation to the south allows it to benefit from maximum sunshine and panoramic view over the village and the Dourbie valley towards Nant. Equipped with every comfort (household appliances, WiFi, TV, DVD, Canal Sat ...) it will allow you a pleasant stay in a perfectly quiet and in communion with nature. The swimming pool (8x4m) strictly reserved for tenants and no vis-à-vis, is heated from May to September, allowing optimum utilization in a remarkable setting. Cars must be parked at the entrance of the village that is only accessible by a vaulted porch.

One has a bed 180 cm, a bed 90 cm, a cot, and a bathroom. The other has a bed 160 cm, a bunk bed and has a shower room accessible from the corridor. A sofa bed and a sofa bed are available extra in the living room. The beams are apparent, the large fireplace is Aveyron style and the style is rustic. The calm is absolute.

Une adresse a recommander sans réserve ! quel calme et quelle sérénité.

Une charmante maison authentique, dans un petit village préservé perché sur un rocher. Elle bénéficie d'une vue spectaculaire et donne une impression de détente hors du temps.

Un beau jardin encadre la maison. Rien ne manque , ni à l'intérieur , ni à l’extérieur.

Nous sommes venus à 2 couples avec enfants et avons grandement apprécié le calme des lieux et les ballades alentour.

Nous reviendrons sans hésiter l'été pour profiter de la piscine.

Les propriétaires, charmants, connaissent parfaitement la région et sont de bons conseils pour la découverte de celle-ci.

Enjoyable stay...

We had an enjoyable two weeks at this house. Picturesque location in a small hamlet which was eerily quiet during our time - seems to be mostly holiday homes. House is well equipped and obviously "lived in" and served as a good base. Pool was a welcome bonus on hot days - which was every day during our stay. Plenty to see and do locally - Templar villages, caves, etc. Good walks and cycling (some very good waymarked mountain bike trails) from the doorstep. We didn't meet the owners but they were very helpful before our visit and we had no further need to contact them. Recommended.

Beau gîte mais un peu vieillot

Le gîte bénéficie d'un cadre exceptionnel par contre attention aux équipements intérieurs et extérieurs un peu vieillots et surtout précisez sur le site que le gîte n'est pas accessible en voiture car pour des personnes avec des problèmes aux jambes ou autres la côte leur sera impossible et sachant que le paiement se fait en avance comment faire pour ces personnes

Très contents de notre séjour .

Magnifique séjour de vacances à la Bergerie de Cantobre, la location est très plaisante et bien entretenue avec un grand terrain et piscine chauffée. On y apprécie le calme.Très belle région avec de nombreux sites touristiques à visiter. Et aussi quelques restaurants qui nous présentent des plats du terroir.

Si vous rêvez de vacances dans un village perché sur un rocher, dans une belle maison ancienne, la Bergerie de Cantobre est faite pour vous... Si vous aimez les vieilles pierres, les maisons typiques, allez-y... La maison est très bien équipée, tout à été pensé pour faciliter votre séjour, vous trouvez une nombreuse documentation sur les visites en tout genre à faire dans la région... Et vous êtes accueillis par des propriétaires adorables et serviables...

Cantobre is a unique site. Perched on a rocky peak overlooking Dourbie and Trevezel, the village has retained all its ancestral charm. No new building, only old houses Aveyron stone. The Dourbie is accessible to the feet of the village allowing fishing or bathing without making many kilometers. Access to the wealth of Aveyron is easy, the village is located in the heart of the Grands Causses classified World Heritage of UNESCO. The A75 motorway is only 19 km away.

Access to the sea is also easy and we find ourselves on the beaches of Cap d'Agde in 1:30. You will also be 40 minutes from the ski slopes of Mont Aigoual.

Pendant la très haute saison une réduction de 100 euros sera accordée pour un séjour de deux semaines, et de 200 euros pour un séjour de plus de deux semaines. L'accueil sera effectué par le propriétaire ou le voisin qui connait parfaitement les lieux. Les clés et instructions d'usage vous serons données lors de l'arrivée. L'heure d'arrivée est fixée aux environs de 16h et celle du départ 11h. Une caution de 1000 euros sous forme de chèque non encaissé est demandé et restitué à l'issue du séjour en fonction des conditions du contrat.
