Very good location and home. The rooms are bit different in their set up, but it worked well.

  • 4 of 5

On the whole, the house worked very well for our four night stay. It's very well located for the lake and not too far from Kalispell.

Great place to stay, had everything we needed and then some!

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful home! The owners were there to greet us on arrival and go through the house and amenities. The hot tub was very much enjoyed by us. We had several children that had the best time on the playground set, lots of room in the yard to run. We had a couple of group dinners and the outdoor area provided great seating and room for entertainment. It is across from the water which provided beautiful views! Thank you for a great stay!

Great Value

  • 4 of 5

Our family from Ontario came out to visit, and we rented Clock Inn for 5 nights for 10 people. The place slept everyone comfortable, although the layout is slightly strange - 6 of us were in the main building and 4 people were in added on suites that required you to go outside. The value for the money was top notch. The location was great - it felt very private, but you could get to groceries and restaurants in 10 minutes.

The owners were friendly, and were waving us into the driveway with a flashlight. They have a small cottage on the property, so were very close by if we needed them.

There were a few inconveniences, things that I have not run into when using VRBO before. These things were fine for our group, but if you are looking for a total stress free, do nothing vacation, you may get frustrated. Some examples: We had to fix a plugged drain on the first day in the upstairs bathroom, the downstairs bathroom sink had no hot water, there was no paper towel, there was a bbq but no bbq tongs/flipper and only had 3 minutes worth of propane (which we didn't realized when we put our burger on), hottub Jet 2 blasted water all over the deck and patio doors, almost all of the external doors required a huge amount of force to open (either open or push the knobs down). I know it was a busy time of year for the owners (someone else had rented it right up to the day we had it), so these things probably just slipped through the cracks.

I would recommend this property to others, and we would stay here again.

Owner's Response: As the review states, we were right here on the property yet we were never contacted that anything was wrong. If we had know the guests were having a problem with drains or no propane, etc. we would have immediately addressed the issues. We are sorry that things were not working correctly, but we can't help if we don't know. We will also be adding more detailed instructions for using the hot tub to the house notebook in hopes that guests will find that helpful.

Awesome!

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely fabulous rental for families. We had 13 people including 4 children and we fit comfortably with plenty of sleeping space. The children loved the play/climbing structure in the yard. We loved watching the deer mornings and evenings in the yard. It was close to lots of activities from Glacier Park, to the lake and water parks. We had a wonderful vacation.

Great getaway

  • 4 of 5

The house was exactly as advertised and the owners were easy to work with. The house sits on a large piece of property so it was nice and quiet. The firepit was ideal for the cooler evenings and our son had fun exploring the play structure. Plenty of room hang out with ample privacy when desired for our large group!

Wonderful for a family gathering

  • 5 of 5

We would second all of the superlative descriptions by others who have enjoyed Clock Inn. The setting on a large and beautifully landscaped slope is wonderful -- high above the highway and hustle bustle of the beachside -- and with a romantic view through the pine trees of Flathead Lake and the mountains beyond. It was a perfect place for gathering our two children and their families (three grandchildren -- 11, 11, and 8) from opposite corners of the country. There is plenty of space inside and out to relax, converse, play, do collaborative cooking, eat inside or out, or just relax in solitude with a book. That the owners built it and have used it as a home for their own family is reflected in its thoughtful arrangement and comfortable furnishings. The main floor is easily accessible, and as 70+ folks with minor hip and knee problems we had no difficulty with the stairs inside or out. Despite a brief spell of unusually hot weather, we did not miss air conditioning. Our family enjoyed activities on the lake and made several trips into Glacier Park -- less than an hour to West Glacier. Recommend taking Routes 35 and 206 through the countryside.
