Perfect home for a family reunion
My cousins and I, and some of their daughters and daughters in law (thirteen total, ages 19-76, from 6 states) thoroughly enjoyed our time at this amazing lake house! The communication with our host exceeded expectations. The home is really comfortable with quality beds for all, multiple gathering areas and the fire pit, dock and garden more than live up to the property description and photos. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals and the other amenities including games, a book with recommendations for local attractions and great places to eat made this annual cousin's reunion really exceptional.
The hospitality of the owners was the best we have experienced in renting lake homes. Beautiful home with all the amenities one could wish for. We had a very warm week with high humidity and the home was very very comfortable on all levels for comfort of sleeping etc.
Boating, swimming, tubing, yard games and a very workable kitchen to enjoy our family dining. It was a Great Lake place to enjoy our family time!
🤗🤗 thank you Danielle & Jonathan
Our stay at the Cedar Lake House was fabulous. It is beautiful inside and out. Great fun!
Our family of ten, 11 months to 72 years, all enjoyed the clean, spacious, and beautiful home on Cedar Lake. We had family over for a barbeque birthday party and everyone enjoyed the boating, swimming, and fishing. The owners had games and water toys to keep everyone busy. The 5 beautiful decks allowed relaxing and quiet time as well as a view of sunrises and sunsets while listening to the loons. The kitchen had everything we could think of needing. There was plenty of parking on the drive way. The beds were comfortable. The basement room was a fun hangout for the young crowd that played games into the late evening. We had little or no problem with mosquitoes. The water on shore had algae bloom that the neighbors reported as very unusual. It seemed to be clearing by the end of the week. Annadale Marketplace was good for groceries. In Annadale,(about 2miles) the Cafe Jules was a very nice place to eat. The A Meats on 55 in Maple Lake had wonderful steaks and chicken for grilling. There were numerous hiking areas and in Clear Water the family enjoyed a very nice frizby golf course. We loved our vacation at this home and would do it again.
Best Place Ever!
This place was ideal for a lake home. There is plenty of room and the home is decorated in a professional manner. Jonathan and Danielle are for sure one of the nicest couples my family has ever met. They have almost everything that you need so buying additional items is not necessary. The view of the lake from all three levels of the home was incredible. We fished every day and caught both Bass and Pike. We had family came from the Twin Cities and stay with us. There is so much room in the home so we never felt like there was never enough space. I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat.
The house was perfect for our extended family vacation.
This house is new, very tastefully decorated, comfortable, and extremely clean. The owners thought of evey detail. We flew in from out of state so we couldn’t show up with a well packed car of course. We were so thankful to only have to make a quick grocery run. Everything else was there for us! We had an amzing time on the lake, including fishing, canoeing, board games, and roasting smores on the fire. Iit was super helpful to have beach towels as well as shower towels and all the basic supplies provided for us. We were able to get great steaks and burger at the local meat market and grill them at the house. We rented jet skis from a local business the owner recommended. Quite expensive but made the trip especially fun for our teenage boys. We had a great time.
Cedar Lake House in Annandale, MN
Myself + 4 siblings stayed a week at this house and loved it the entire time. The homeowners were very responsive to our questions prior to arriving and the house is awesome. The homeowners were at the house at the appointed arrival time and again at the departure time. Every amenity that one needs. I would definitely stay there again. I'm a local Minnesotan, but 3 of my siblings are from the west coast and the 4th from the east coast.
