A wonderful romantic getaway!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at the cabin. The river is such a short walk away and the canoe was fantastic! The place was really clean and organized. Kristi was available via text message for questions. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, so much to do in the area, and NOT just for summer time.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had so much fun. I am wondering why the upstairs isn't made into another bedroom so that I can bring the whole family! While there, we canoed right from the property. We hiked at the nearby glacial hills pathways. We sampled local craft beer (Shorts), an amazing small batch distillery (Mammoth), craft cider and mead (Bee Well), and went to Torch Lake Cellars for wine. We also relaxed by both the fire pit outside and the fireplace inside. The fall colors were still beautiful even the last weekend of October. All in all, it was a great weekend.

Amazing, peaceful and relaxing get-away!!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent a week at this cabin and were extremely impressed by every aspect of it. It was extremely clean, cozy, and peaceful. It's set right in the woods close to a small river that is also very quiet. We took several canoe rides and were able to relax due to how quiet the setting is. It's close enough to Traverse City and the surrounding area to drive places to eat and shop, yet off the beaten path enough to feel far away from the rat race. We can't speak highly enough of this vacation/relaxation spot. We plan to stay here once a year alone without our children so that we can reset and refocus on our marriage! Thank you for sharing your beautiful little cabin with us.

Cozy , Quaint , Rustic Anniversary Getaway

  • 5 of 5

This is a newer and very clean A-Frame. Great property - nicely kept and

peaceful. The owners were very quick in response to our rental inquiry. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice , quiet getaway location. We went to Bellaire and had good food at the Lunch Box. We also visited Shorts Brewery. We also spent several hours driving around the peninsula's around Traverse City. We visited many shops and did tastings at the many wineries in the area. All the extra amenities supplied were an unexpected and very nice touch. The Kitchen was absolutely beautiful. My wife loved it !! Would like to try to get back and try some fishing in the near future. Thank you Steve and Kristi for an enjoyable rental experience !!

Beautiful

  • 5 of 5

Kristi and Steve were easily reachable and very helpful. A-frame was just what we wanted. Secluded, but still near enough things to do. Loved the canoe, dock and channel as well as the frisbee and scoop game as we called it that was available for use. Only 15 minute drive to downtown Bellaire and Short's brewery. Everything we needed except food and drinks were provided. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away from everything, but still be able to get back to the real world easily if needed.

Very clean rental in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I have stayed in many different rentals through VRBO, Airbnb, etc. But we found this little cabin to be arguably the cleanest one in which we've ever stayed. Everything matched the pictures and description on the website, and the owner was pleasant and always very quick with answers to our questions.

The cabin is in a great location in private wooded setting with direct access to the Grass River, which ultimately flows into Torch Lake. The Town of Bellaire and local attractions are only 10-15 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again!
