The moment we walked into the house I was very happy with this home. The basement is a walkout with many toys for the kids to play with. We especially enjoyed the main level with large kitchen and deck to enjoy the views across the valley. The rooms were good sized and had ample sleeping availability, even more than we needed.
We stayed here for a wedding weekend in Granby. This house was a 5 star for sure. Suitable for newborns to infinity and beyond. Cribs. Daybeds. Lots of beds. Deck. Outside fireplace. Hot tub. Awesome kitchen. Games. Privacy. No complaints from us. We highly recommend it! The manager was great to work with as well!
We spent a weekend at this amazing rental! We have used VRBO quit a few times over the years. This was by far our favorite place we have stayed. The owners really pay attention all the details. We had everything we needed! They made renting the house a breeze. From the key code on the door, to plenty of stocked items and even the lights were labeled! Thank you so much for adding to our weekend. We look forward to coming back.
My 3 children and their spouses and 11 grandchildren spent one of the most memorable times together at this house nestled up in the mountains. The house was clean and warming when we arrived without any problems. The view from the table was breath taking and the sign that hung above the table was words of wisdom.
It read " MEMORIES ARE MADE HERE". The kids had a riot in the hot tub, the bedrooms were cozy and adequate for a family our size. The kitchen was fully furnished and had plenty of room for every one to move around to prepare meals. We felt safe and secure and had no problems. It was great to see the deer in the neighborhood and the ducks and pelicans down on the lake. The golf course was a blast and I didn't do to bad either. We drove to Grand Lake and spent the day there where they have a great park for the kids. The shops and the restaurant we whet to were so much fun. We can't wait to go back.
This place was perfect for our needs. With a mixed group, the rooms were spread out enough, two each on the upper and lower floors, to allow privacy and with the main level open to gather as a group. It was easy to get to and yet off the beaten path. The house came with a variety of supplies including kid-friendly dishware and adult-friendly stemware. For those items we forgot, there was stores near enough to accommodate our forgetfulness. The outdoor activities nearby had a range of levels for the young kids and the more advanced thrill seekers.
The owners were great to work with and fast at responding to questions. We were all very pleased!
House was very nice with awesome views but the property manager was terrible. We went on a snow and cold day with 4 families and temperature in the basement was super cold. I have changed the temperature settings to 68 from 60 or so but it would never come-up 1 degree even after 3 hours so decided to call the property manager. He asked me to take some pictures of the heaters in the room and send it to him. After that, he asked me to do a lot of trouble shooting by opening the electrical circuit panels in the locked room. Nothing helped and we asked for portable electrical heaters as it was super cold to sleep in the basement bedrooms. He said he doesn't have any of them and he can't even send anyone to look at the heater situation. We had to sleep in cold and I wouldn't rent any property that being managed by this property manager. He didn't even call us even on the next day either and more over he says, ITS NOT A HOTEL WHERE WE CAN SEND SOME SERVICE GUYS to fix the problems. Haven't heard this kind of answer in my last 15 years where we have rented so many cabins in Rocky Mountain area......stay away from this property management managed properties.
