This property is a private cabin, not a resort. Great location, great view.
Your cabin is designed to be affordable for just a single couple ($165) , or two couple ($235), or even three couple ($305) , and possibly 8 guests, if two guests don't mind sleeping on a comfortable roll out double bed. The base amount is $165 for two guests, and extra guests are $35 per guest per night. The main floor consists of a large living room/bedroom and bath, and a full kitchen with conversation area (with the roll out bed). The new 14' x 34' deck overlooks a view of Beaver Lake (one of the most pristine lakes in America) that will leave you speechless. Downstairs there are two additional bedrooms and bath. A washer and drier are available, but guests must provide their own detergent, softener, etc. Just outside is a beautiful downstairs deck also with a great view. The hot tub is the perfect relaxer, you will sleep like a baby. There is a one time hot tub fee of $50 that covers our heating and chemical costs. So when you book, be sure to declare if you wish to use the Hot Tub, and it will be up and running for you when you arrive. Nestled in the trees is a new fire ring, and includes a supply of logs for your fire. The wooded four acres the cabin sits on is filled with wildlife. From red fox to white tail deer, opossum and bobcat. Up above you will see woodpeckers, hawks, eagles, and turkey vultures, not to mention a variety of song birds.
There's a boat launch ramp just down the hill, a marina around the corner, and a dam site park minutes away. There's even trout fishing or canoeing on the white river adjacent to the dam. In town, you will find all sorts of entertainment, from a new zip line ride, to a wild animal shelter with lions, tigers, and bears ....... 'Oh My!' You can even take a dinner car ride on the old steam engine train from yesteryear. Our shops and restaurants are over the top with quality and uniqueness. And if you really want a treat, get Jack to take you on his special tour of Eureka Springs, you will love it.

About Jack Cross
Jack first came to Eureka in the early 70's as a hippie and fell in love with this magical town. It's not about money in Eureka Springs, it's about lifestyle, Jack will tell you, and what a lifestyle it is. His love of the outdoors, fishing, hiking, and all sorts of water sports, make Jack a happy camper. He has great stories, and if you are lucky enough to spend time with him, he will be sure an tell you a few. Most of all, Jack loves people as you will see. He will do whatever it takes to make sure you enjoy this place he calls paradise.

Why Jack Cross chose Packard Springs
I've wanted this cabin ever since Evelyn and I first saw it 40 years ago. So when the opportunity presented its self, we couldn't help ourselves. The cabin needed work, and we gave it what it needed. It was a dream 40 years ago, but a reality today. A magic little cabin.
What makes this Cabin unique
We adjusted its design so it not only can accommodate three couples, but can be minimalized to be affordable for just a single couple. The deck is fantastic, as is the spectacular view of Beaver Lake, and I promise if you use the hot tub, you will sleep like a baby.

Don't pass up this view!
I was a little weary of renting this cabin due to the price, but you absolutely get what you pay for with this one. The view of Beaver Lake from the back deck is absolutely beautiful! We spent several hours our first night just staring off into the distance. If you're looking to disconnect from your life back home, this is the place for you.
Our stay at this cabin was fantastic and exactly what we wanted in a vacation home. Jack had some really great suggestions for places to visit in Eureka Springs and a general wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area. He was even kind of enough to invite us out on his pontoon!
To sum it up: the price is fair, the owner is incredibly nice and helpful, and the view will make your stress melt away!
Hidden Gem in Eureka Springs!
We could not be more happy with our stay at Jacks Cabin. He met us on day one to show us the house and give us a little background on the town and also recommend things to see while we were staying there. Had he not done so we would have never known about some of the wonders this town has to offer! The view from the deck is breathtaking and the cabin itself had everything you could need for your stay, he even stocked some k cups for coffee. The one thing to note** Jacks wife did come by 2 times throughout the trip to water the plants. She was very nice and a sweetheart but the visits were unannounced.
Beautiful and Relaxing Retreat for a girls getaway.
We had a Girls Cousin Retreat and stayed at this property. We arrived around 9 PM and Jack met us at the house. He showed us around the house and then gave us all of his knowledge of Eureka Springs (places to eat and must see attractions) Thank you Jack for being so hospitable to us all. The next morning, we went on the back patio to have our coffee. That view is incredible! It was absolutely beautiful and relaxing.
The inside is beautiful and accommodated us all. The beds were so comfortable and kitchen was stocked (Thank you Jack for the coffee) We all felt at home.
I would recommend this home to everyone. You will not be disappointed. We look forward to our next trip.
Great cabin in a great location. The view was amazing. The cabin was very clean when we arrived. Jack (the owner) is a great guy. He was a great host and took the time to give us some tourist information when we arrived. Offered us a ride on his boat which was incredibly kind of him to do. It’s a nice cabin away from downtown Eureka Springs but still close enough to go see the sites downtown or head to the grocery store.
Beautiful view, great place!
We really enjoyed our time at Jack's place. He welcomed us there with a tour of the home and some recommendations for local activities and restaurants. The house is well stocked with anything you would need to cook meals there, although there are also a lot of very good choices for restaurants around town, just 15-20 minutes away.
The view from the deck was amazing, we loved sitting out there to play games/eat dinner each night! The hot tub was a great way to wind down after a day of hiking.
The home was a little tight for 6 people to stay in as one of the beds is in the "living room" upstairs, but if you plan to spend much of your time outside on the patio or exploring Eureka Springs/local hiking it is perfect. We also had paid for use of the fire pit but found out from signs around town that there was a burn ban in place and we were not allowed to use it, just something to check on before you travel. The home is along a fairly busy local road and does not have any sort of fenced yard so if you bring along a dog you will want to keep a close eye on them to avoid wandering into the roadway.
Overall, a great place to stay with a wonderful view and we would definitely recommend it!
Beautiful and Relaxing, all the comforts.
This cabin was just perfect for our family of 4. Close to Eureka Springs and lots of hiking in the area. There is no lake access from the cabin, and a $50 fee if you want to use the hot tub which was great at the end of the day! Fantastic Place!
Starkey Marina and a boat launch ramp is just around the corner form the cabin, as well as lake fishing, river fishing/floating, picnicking, scenic hiking, swimming, and scuba diving. Boat and jet ski rental is also available. Town is just 15 minutes away, all on paved roads.
