Very quiet location with private parking and interior courtyard to enjoy the sun with garden furniture and enjoy a barbecue from spring to fall. Ideal to rest.

Excellent stay

Four of us stayed a week in this property and had a great time. Convenient stores nearby. Best of all were the owners, who live adjacent to the property. They went out of their way to see we were looked after. Highly recommend.

Lovely everything!

Our two week stay in this house was amazing! Everything about it was lovely - the home is darling and authentic and has everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Helene and Marc were so helpful in helping us determine what to see in the area. You are a few minute walk from Vendenheim and really close to Strasbourg and the Route du Vin. We visited many WWI and WWII landmarks, as well, which are in close proximity to the house. We loved this home, Alsace, and everything about our vacation! Merci, Helene and Marc!

Wonderful authentic Alsatian house!

The picture postcard house was perfect. Clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable, spacious and in a great small town location with a spot to park your car and a small patio area for outdoor eating or cocktails. Helene and Marc were excellent hosts and very knowledgeable about the area. First floor has the living room, dining room, eat-in kitchen, laundry room, toilet and another room with a wonderful spacious shower. Take the wood spiral staircases to the second floor which has a large bedroom with twin beds, and a bathroom with toilet and two sinks. Third floor has another large bedroom with a double/queen bed, and lots of sky lights. Both beds were very comfortable. Lots of windows and natural light. The kitchen has everything you need and is very modern. The house is within a few minutes quick walk to a little grocery store, bank with ATM, and a few pizza restaurants. Also a short bike ride (two bikes are available at the house) to a great paved flat bike trail along the canal where you can cycle for miles. Vendenheim is a very friendly, safe town, and close to many fun places in France and Germany for day trips. We took day trips to the Route du Vin, Kayserberg, Riquewihr, Ribeauville, Colmar, Baden Baden, and Strasbourg. I would definitely recommend this house. It is the perfect base for a very good vacation!

Wonderful alsatian house

La casa es muy amplia, decorada con mucho gusto, llena de recuerdos, y la vez muy confortable y con todo lo necesario para sentirse como en casa. El salón y los dormitorios son muy grandes. La cocina tiene todo lo que puedas necesitar. Al estar situada en un cul-de-sac, es muy tranquila a pesar de estar en el centro del pueblo. A pocos kilómetros de Estrasburgo, es ideal para recorrer la Alsacia. La casa es muy fresca en verano, nosotros agradecimos poder descansar en el salón después de pasar calor visitando la zona. Cerca hay una zona comercial con un gran supermercado, gasolinera, etc... Helène y Marc son muy agradables, nos recibieron con bebidas frescas en la nevera y unos bretzel. También nos proporcionaron mapas e información de sitios para visitar. Viven en la casa de al lado y siempre estaban disponibles para lo que pudiéramos necesitar. Es una gran experiencia alojarse en una auténtica casa alsaciana, con todas las comodidades y tan bien situada.
