I know I was not asked to do so, but I believe it is always effective to give some feedback upon our stay in a rental apartment!
More precisely, I would like to give some very good feedgack about our stay at 115 apartment, on the 34th street at Newport Beach.
Firstly, the location is just amazing. As a Greek guy whose life is associated with the sea water, the location of the aparment was just ...perfect! Having the vaste ocean next to you is not something that you get it easily! the upper terrace equipped with the long chais produced some of the best pictures and overnights gatherings always in a cozy atmosphere!
The instructions about the TV (cable) were explicit and the variety of TV channels was sufficient, in order to get a grasp of the Media in USA! The cleaningness of the apartment and the amplitude of towels (beach and shower type) was higher than adequate and in short, the apartment was a great deal for the given price!
I would like to thank you again very much for printing out our tickets for the NBA game and in overall to thank you for the very good assistance (in terms of communication) all the way throughout our booking process and stay in Newport Beach.
Have a great week,
Best regards from the sunny and almost "summery" Athens,
I have rented several different homes in Newport Beach over the last few years. This house was also one of the best located of those I have rented. Literally steps from the sand and a few blocks at most from restaurants and shops. There was plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The owners were fabulous to work with, even bringing us chairs and a beach cooler to rent for a day. Also, having parking was great.
However, the property could use some upgrading. The second bathroom is barely a bathroom. Really a shower (with no water pressure) in the second bedroom. The tile floor in the kitchen was cracked, and the furniture was pretty worn.
If you want a great location, great customer service, and a lot of space, this house would definitely work for you. If higher end and/or upgraded finishes and furnishings are important, you may not be satisfied.
My family of 6--4 kids 6 and under-- stayed at this property for 4 days. It is an absolutely a fantastic location, the place is clean, easy to find, includes parking (so long as your vehicle isn't oversized). If you're looking for a low-key, quiet place, very close to the beach, this is the one. Really lovely and we'll definitely be back.
Perfect location with everything you need or may want within walking distance. Early morning and sunset walks on the beach are literally steps away from your door. The house is fully furnished and is well worth every penny. You will not be disappointed. We are frequent travelers and often stay in 4 or 5 star hotels. Being able to have a full size house while on vacation beats a hotel hands down.
Rented home for 6 people for a long weekend. Great location for beach access, walking to Newport Pier. Tons of restaurants within walking distance. Nice grocery store is a couple blocks away. Easy drive to Laguna Beach, Balboa Island, and Fashion Island Mall. Disneyland was a fairly easy 1 hour drive. Parking is a challenge. Unit comes with garage parking, but do not bring a full-size SUV! A minivan will fit inside. If you can use the garage that's your best bet...street parking can be difficult to find. Nighttime can be noisy with such close quarters. We found keeping our windows closed helped a lot. Rental office was pleasant to work with and very responsive throughout.
This was a perfect stay for 10 days escaping the winter in Germany. We had a great vacation, perfect service and hospitality from beachviewrealty and I can only say that this apartment (unit B, upper floor) is well equipped, quiet, has awesome views from the balcony and roof patio towards the pacific ocean which is only a few meters away. With enough space for more than 6 people, easy access to PCH, restaurants (my recommendation is Newport Brewing Company) and Pavillion (VONS) in walking distance it has everything it needs to make you feel happy. Not to mention the whales that we saw from the beach - all in all a wonderful place.
We used to stay before in Huntington Beach / Sunset Beach, but Newport Beach is far more "lively" and you could (we did not do that but I would recommend this for all who are staying there around high season) rent a bike and explore the beach, restaurants and other places without the hassle of searching for a place to park your car, which can be difficult sometimes. But this apartment has a garage, and I suppose that if you would not have this "feature" you'd be lost.
And, not to forget: 34th street is a great surfing spot. We can't wait to get back.
This was perfect for our multi-generational family getaway. Located very close to the beach and boardwalk, a short walk to the only grocery store and near the pier and various restaurants. Clean, well appointed, fun roof terrace and great two-car garage. We loved it and the rental agents couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. We'd go back in a minute!
Everything is accessible by walking or biking! One of the best beaches in all of Southern California 100 ft from your door. Private and/or small group surf lessons and stand-up paddle surf lessons available. Please contact owner for details and rates.
