About Daniel Kisiel
We live in California with our 3 college age children. We enjoy traveling around the world and wanted a little piece of paradise which we found here in Kihei, HI.
Daniel Kisiel purchased this Condo in 2014
Why Daniel Kisiel chose Kihei
We love the location of our condo! So much is within walking distance! Restaurants, shopping and fun are within a 7 minute walk! There is no need for a car unless you want to explore more of the island.

We loved our stay in Kihei at this perfect one bedroom condo. It was spacious and clean, had a nice patio, and had all the beach gear you could need.
The location and grounds were excellent and checking in with Lynn was a breeze! Would highly recommend.
I had a great experience it was an easy check in-out process. Quick to respond to my messages and questions. Place was perfect for a get away vacation. Felt right at home.
Awwh! I am so glad to hear the 'felt right at home' comment! That is our goal. I so enjoyed visiting with you both and hope all is well with Ben! Blessings ~ lynn
Clean place in a quiet street. Has everything you need for a good stay. Lynn took the time to show us the place and was good to deal with all around. Would definitely come back and stay here again.
It was so good to meet y'all and I'm so glad you enjoyed your visit! You were great guests!
Slightly disappointed with location and beach access.
We felt the majority of the amenities included with the unit could be updated. Lynn had to purchase a new cooler for us to use because the two supplied were broken. There was a broken beach umbrella we weren’t able to use. A large cockroach crawled out of the utensil drawer. There were small insects throughout the unit and my wife was constantly getting bit. We ended up leaving the unit early because of these small insects. They became a nuisance. The unit needs to be sprayed with some type of pesticide. The screen door was also broken. While taking showers, the hot water came and went during your entire shower experience. One second it was hot and the next it was freezing. The pots and pans were difficult to cook in because of the actual cooking surface of each pot or pan. The bed pillows were rather flat and uncomfortable. Trying to sleep with the blinds above the bed was not easy. Every time the wind blew the blinds would smack together loudly and a couple of the blind slats actually fell off the track. We had an issue with the laundry room as well. Our lanai was disappointing.. We didn’t realize we would be facing traffic. In the description of the unit it makes it sound like you are tucked away from the hustle and bustle of things, including traffic. That was not true. The claimed 5 minute walk to the beach isn’t quite accurate. A lot of little things just began to pile up on our con list. Lynn was extremely friendly and helpful. We truly appreciated the bottle of wine for our anniversary. It was a very sweet gesture.
Terrah and Marcie ~ I am so sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations.
I wish you had told me about all of these items during your stay. I tried to respond to your every need as I was informed.
Regarding pests...we do live in the tropics so the weather does not ever destroy any of them. However, the unit and entire complex is under contract with a pest control company that sprays quarterly and there are cans of spray under the sink.
Any food that is dropped, spilled or uncovered with attract insects. I noticed that y'all changed the sugar provided to 'cinnamon sugar' and there was some spilled on the counter.
There was also a great deal of sand throughout the unit, which carries sand fleas and tiny mites that might have been the cause of the bites.
As for the pillows, the ones on the bed were replaced around 3-4 months ago. Since you used all 7 pillows, some of those were 'back-ups' which are somewhat older, but are typically used by children on the fold-out sofa and frequently the victims of pillow fights.
I have replaced the pots and pans. They get a LOT of wear and tear. The copper griddle, for example, is new but already ruined.
The owners had already made arrangements to replace the blinds above the bed, and that will happen when they arrive next week.
The sliding door screen also gets a lot of abuse and the owners will replace it as well.
And, as for the 5 minute walk to the beach...I don't know which way you went but I truly believe it is a 5 minute walk to beach access.
I so hoped that you would have a happy experience for your anniversary and so wished I could have made it so.
Thank you for your kind comments and for the opportunity to improve.
With Aloha ~ lynn
We enjoyed our stay here for 10 days. The property was well equipped and Lynn the manager was friendly and was easy to deal with. It’s an older apartment but the grounds and pool were very well maintained and the location was great. It was definitely tight for a family of four. There is only two seats on the Lania(patio) and it was very difficult to fit four around the dining table inside as it’s tucked right in the corner. If your are mostly eating out this won’t be so much of a problem. Also the bathroom is off the bedroom. Our kids really enjoyed the pool which was never too busy. I would definitely recommend this property for two people and overall we really enjoyed our stay in this property and in the Kihei area.
So happy to hear that y'all enjoyed your stay. It is true that the unit is best suited for two guests, but we make it available for families as an accommodation to reduce cost. Hope to see you again one day! Mahalo, lynn
The host was very nice and helpful, always able to answer questions or help with any issues. Nice comfortable place to stay with anything you could need, was difficult to sleep in as the noise outside permeates pretty easily (guy was raking leaves on concrete at 7am like clock work outside the bedroom window) and kids playing around yelling was a bit irritating but that's my bad for going during spring break haha, earplugs helped. Not much the host can do about that but it's something to take into account when booking. Bed was comfortable, kitchen big enough to cook meals in and it's a very bright place. Stays cool inside, never had to use the air conditioner but it's nice that one is available. Would definitely stay there again.
SO very sorry that there were noise issues! I wish you had phoned me at the time. I would have spoken with the resident manager about the leaf raking and asked if he could speak with the guests about children. Y'all are so sweet and kind but you shouldn't have compromised your enjoyment as a result. I do hope that you return some day so I can make it up to you! Until then ~
Condo is located across the street a short distance from The Cove Beach Park, a popular family-friendly surfing spot where surf and paddle boarding lessons are given.
