Overlooking the eastern branch of Keuka Lake, my chalet on Bluff Point is minutes from Keuka College and Norton Chapel, the Garrett Chapel, Keuka Lake State Park, Esperanza Mansion and the many wineries of the Finger Lakes wine trails. We are on a private drive, a secluded 5 acres of land with views that celebrate sunrise, moonrise and everything in between. We offer our guest exclusive use of two decks, a gas grill, and an open fire pit. Inside accomodations offer one bedroom with a double bed, and a loft with 3 single beds; the living room also has a pullout sofa sleeper. The kitchen is galley style and there is one bathroom with a walk in shower. In addiditon there is a three-season sunroom which includes two more couches for additional sleeping arrangements. We are equipped with Direct TV (3 independantly tunable tv's) and air conditioning.
Brett was wonderful and very accommodating our last minute request. The house was clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay!
The owner was so friendly and accommodating. The views were fantastic and we had plenty to do around the lake. We will definitely be back.
We really enjoyed our stay in the Chalet overlooking Keuka Lake. The condition and furnishings were way beyond what I would expect in a house at this price level (having stayed in several in different locations at the same price.) Some of the nice things: owner met us and took us to the house as it can be tricky to find, very complete kitchen with nicer dishes than I have at home, lovely furnishing, great beds, paper towel/toilet paper + other extras provided that normally are not. Very comfortable house with a lot of light and great views.
The house was great for our dogs with a large yard that they could roam around in. Secluded and quiet yet only 4 miles from Penn Yan which made it very easy to go into town to pick up things at the store. Really enjoyed the Keuka Lake Outlet trail which starts in Penn Yan. It's a trail along the old canal that runs for 6+ miles. Beautiful and peaceful - great place to walk the dogs. I highly recommend this house.
We had a lovely time at this quiet and relaxing home. Everything was clean, and in great condition. Brett drove us to our home the first day to show us the house and answer any questions for us. The view of Keuka Lake from the living room and the two patios is spectacular. The two story great room feels open and roomy, yet it also feels cozy and comfortable. We walk the trails around the property and even walked down to the lake. In the evenings we enjoyed the warmth of the electric fireplaces in both the great room and the bedroom.
From the house you can drive to Keuka State Park, as well as to Seneca Lake to the east and Canandaigua Lake to the West. We hiked at Watkins Glen, only about 50 minutes away, and truly enjoyed the experience. There are more wineries in the area than you could possibly visit in one trip. Top recommendations for this home.
Brett showed us how to get to the house the first time and good thing he did. It's not far at all from civilization, but very remote, peaceful, scenic and comfortable. The house had all the amenities you'd want including washer/dryer, heat, comfy beds, nice common areas. Plenty of TVs all around, but you'll pass them up for enjoying company with friends on one of the decks, enjoying the sun rise and appreciating nature. Convenient home spot for touring around Keuka Lake.
Great little cabin in the middle of the woods with a view lake!
Not too far from the lake, few min of car or 15 min of walk across the woods.
It's a quiet little retreat, perfect for 4 persons and very clean and maintained.
Great huge yard and lots of little trails to go out and walk our dog.
Brett is always answering our emails very quick.
We definitely recommend this cabin.
Thank you Brett!
