Small but cozy. Can’t beat the location
Had a fun spring break here. Was a little cramped, but we weren’t inside much other than to sleep and eat, so the size wasn’t a problem. A couple blocks of Main Street frisco with great views. Overall great stay!
Huge disappointment, never again!
The cabin was a devastating disappointment. Much darker & more cramped inside than indicated from the photos. After the unit is completely prepaid, the owners issue 2-4 pages of detailed regulations on use of the facilities, including significant fees for any non-compliance. These would be a bit ocd for luxurious, newly renovated renovated accomodations. For a dark, cramped, crowded unit with stained, cracked, peeling floors; a "hot tub" that wouldn't maintain water temperature (never seemed to reach above 100 & cooled off too quickly)or level (leaked) & had no seats; no closet space; a stovetop and pans that had to be scrubbed & cleaned before we could cook on/with them; & at least 40'-50' of icy, snowy, slippery path to traverse between parking space and entry, this was more than outragious. Multiple (3-4), hidden, automatic air fresheners made disturbing chirps and squeaks at odd intervals & filled the small space with a headache inducing, cloying odor. One positive - the water pressure in the single shower unit, which was too small to bend over to pick anything up in, was good. The owners also tended to be defensive and selectively responsive to any comments, questions, or information regarding the conditions of the cabin. All in all, we felt the unit was misrepresented online.
Overall this was a very nice place to stay, some of the rules on the property are over the top but if you can get over that it’s good. Biggest downfall is the hot tub is more like an outdoor lukewarm bathtub.
Great location. Disappointing accommodations
The location of this cabin was very convenient in Frisco. We could walk to the village and enjoy shopping and restaurants. We did not use the hot tub; initially it was a little cool and low on water. Amy quickly had it filled when notified. But the water temperature remained cool despite the thermostat being turned as high allowed. So no hot tub :( We also experienced an issue with the door lock being unable to engage. It was repaired after a 2 day delay. The general state of the cottage furnishings and amenities was somewhat worn out. Amy was always very responsive when I contacted her.
Cute small cabin!
Great location for small group, located within walking distance to downtown and hiking trails.
Spiral staircase is slippery. All kinds of rules all over the cabin. High cleaning fee yet we were expected to do a lot of the cleaning.
Great location, beautiful town.
Spiral Staircase has 3 strips of rough anti-slip strips per step. We never know what type of guests we will have so we do put suggestions as to how we would like people to take care of our cabin. These are no more than anyone who owns a property would expect. The cleaning fee is what we are charged by the cleaning company in Summit County. Everything is more expensive in a resort town. We have no control of what we are charged to have all the laundry done and entire unit cleaned. We do NOT expect guests to do any cleaning. We only ask them to take out trash to dumpster on site, run the dishwasher, and not leave dirty dishes in sink. Not sure what cleaning these guests expected they were supposed to do.
