About Lannie Esteves
I grew up in the Philippines but moved the U.S. where I now live in Southern California.
Lannie Esteves purchased this Condo in 2013
Why Lannie Esteves chose Bagumbayan
I love the Philippines! It's where I grew up. I wanted to have a place in Manila in the center of all the fun, so that I always had a place to call home whenever I was in Manila.
What makes this Condo unique
Eastwood City is just the best. They have been holding the New Year's Eve celebration at Eastwood City, so that should tell you something about how great the location is.

The condo was very safe and wonderful! Eastwood city area was nice. Lots of places to explore, eat, shop, etc. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit. Thank you for hosting our stay :-)
Great start to living in Manila
We rented this apartment to help my son get settled into Manila for his graduate studies. It was a great choice. The owners and their niece/manager were everything we could hope for--cooperative, responsive, friendly.
The place itself is attractive and the details served us well. The location is safe, and the building staff a joy.
Comfort, Fun, Accessibility
It is all about location.. location .. location. The experience starts when you first walk in at the lobby then to the comfortable home with complete amenities. This is the place to stay when you are far away from home. Thanks for accommodating our request to extend our stay even for such a short notice. It was a dreadful vacation travelling from places to places but at the end of day, it was truly a relaxing place to relax, dine, and wine. Definitely would like to come and experience more of what Eastwood have to offer.
Thank you Rowell! You are always welcome to stay at our home away from home!
A home away from home!
That in a nutshell is how I felt when I first walked in the condo. And I'm glad I found this particular listing when looking for a place to stay in Q.C. on our vacation trip. First, it was about the only listing (in VRBO and Craigslist) that had a requisite minimum stay of only four days. Every other one had a minimum six days stay requirement. It was ideal for our situation because we were also visiting our kin in the provinces. And second, the rates were comparable to other similar rentals in and around Metro Manila.
If you're like me, who lives in the U.S. and want the same comforts and amenities in the bustling MM, this place is for you. Whether you're looking at a short stay or for something long term (several months) this condo will work either way. You do get a break on the rental rate for signing up for a longer stay. It is fully furnished (with wi-fi no less!) and the decor is tasteful. The contemporary design is clean and could have been culled from a 'Pottery Barn' catalog or showroom. The features mentioned in the listing are all there. I love that there's a half bathroom downstairs. The running hot water is a big plus even though I've bathe in cold water (in the provinces) over there. The cozy living room has the feel of a grand room owing to the really high ceiling and windows to match. There is an adequate kitchen area for even the most discerning gourmand. The upstairs, where the main bathroom and bedroom are, provides a little more privacy and separation from downstairs. One minor quibble (and it does not detract at all from the general feel and quality of the condo) is the absence of a nightstand. I wear glasses and like to read in bed. Overall, I would highly recommend this place and would in fact look for it again on my next vacation there. I can only hope that it'll be available at that time.
The location (Eastwood City) itself is self contained and from what I understand the first of its kind. In addition to the many restaurants, you name it you'll most likely find it here. Yes, there's a chapel for worship! I made it a point of sampling as many restos as possible as there were plenty. The halo-halo at Razon's is a musty try. The Central Plaza (which is where the biggest concentration of eateries) is literally two mins away from the lobby of this property. Finally, Eastwood City bills itself as a lifestyle. Well, at the risk of sounding glib, it does make you "not" to want to go outside of its confines.
Thank you Ricardo for your well thought out and detailed feedback! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay in our condo as well as the Eastwood City environment! You were the perfect guests, and we hope to host you again. We are already working on furnishing the bedroom with a small nightstand/mini desk along with a chair based on your feedback. It is positive and constructive feedback like yours that allows us to continue to improve both our experience as well as future guests! Thank you for the pleasure of hosting you on your vacation in the Philippines.
