The suite is over 900 sq. ft and comes with a very comfortable bed, luxury linens, towels, and a fully equipped kitchen and in-suite laundry that gives you all the comforts of home. Walking distance to Kitsilano Beach, Granville Island, groceries, movie theatres and the trendy shops, bars and restaurants of West 4th and Broadway. The property is 5 minutes from downtown Vancouver, and 15 minutes from UBC, by public transit. Full high speed WiFi is also available. Why stay anywhere else when you can stay on the main floor of a 1912 Kitsilano character home complete with wainscotting and large windows and a deck with sitting area looking out onto a garden.

One of the best features of this house is the ability to walk down the railway tracks straight into Granville Island. From there, you can hop onto on an aquabus for a quick trip to downtown to continue your sightseeing adventures.

Great space, perfect location.

The space is located on a quiet block, which is a nice reprieve from the city. The Kitsilano neighborhood is much nicer than staying near downtown Vancouver. Lots of parks, good retail shopping, good mix of restaurants, near several bike/ped trails. And it's easily walkable or bike-able to anywhere in the city. I'd definitely stay here again.

Perfect "home away from home"

This home was perfect for our 5 days here in Vancouver... Our "home" was in a great neighborhood, had everything we needed and was spotless! Owners were so helpful before we arrived, answering questions and giving suggestions. We were so happy to have everything we needed within walking distance and could use Metro bus service to get to and from our destinations. We would definitely come back here!

Quiet place, centrally located, poorly organized

We had not been informed that the 2nd bed was an inflatable, and therefore uncomfortable and cold at night, especially with only a thin blanket.

We had also not been informed of the code for the front door. Apparently there is some glitch between the different rental services that rent out this suite, but that didn't help much late one evening waiting outside.

Owner's Response: We are sorry you had issues. When three people book our place there is a cot or an aerobed available for the extra guest, as described in our listing details. Regarding the doors, we provided telephone support and came to the property within 15 minutes to help with access to the property, even though there ended up being no issue with the access codes.

Wonderful space, lovely amenities, great location

We were very happy here - stayed 2 nights in late May. Lovely space, great amenities, could sit outdoors. on small porch off kitchen. Green, attractive, safe location. Great "walkability" for shops, services, restaurants and transit. Easy to get to by Skytrain & walking (we were travelling light). Scott's communications were clear and prompt, lots of good information. Neighbours in building were very quiet. We would happily stay here again.

Everything about this place is appealing--great location, clean/comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing we didn't appreciate was the noise at night from the adjoining unit (small children)...but that is out of this owner's control
