This property has been remodeled with a new kitchen, bathroom, designer furniture, tasteful artwork and a flat screen T.V. The suite is over 900 sq. ft and comes with a very comfortable bed, luxury linens, towels, and a fully equipped kitchen and in-suite laundry that gives you all the comforts of home. Walking distance to Kitsilano Beach, Granville Island, groceries, movie theatres and the trendy shops, bars and restaurants of West 4th and Broadway. The property is 5 minutes from downtown Vancouver, and 15 minutes from UBC, by public transit. Full high speed WiFi is also available. Why stay anywhere else when you can stay on the main floor of a 1912 Kitsilano character home complete with wainscotting and large windows and a deck with sitting area looking out onto a garden.

We bought this property as I love Kitsilano and Marilyn loves downtown. This property is a perfect compromise as we can conveniently enjoy both neighborhoods from this location.

What makes this house unique

One of the best features of this house is the ability to walk down the railway tracks straight into Granville Island. From there, you can hop onto on an aquabus for a quick trip to downtown to continue your sightseeing adventures.

Spacious, clean, great location, quiet neighbourhood, unit well stocked

We had a great experience with this rental. The unit was clean, well equipped with all that would make for an at home stay. The location is superb, close to all amenities and bus routes. The instructions given re our stay were thorough and concise. The only inconvenience was the washroom situation as it was off the bedroom; we had 3 adults (a cot for the 3rd) in another room making for some inconvenience but not enough to overshadow the overall positive experience. Would we stay here again and/or recommend this unit to someone bet!

Great weekend stay

This Kitsilano apartment was a perfect place to stay for my weekend trip. The house was located within walking distance to great restaurants and shops. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and stocked with all the basics. I had a great nights rest on the comfy bed. The only thing to note is that parking on the street is restricted, and all day parking is a couple blocks away and took a little bit to find.

Scott's place was everything promised- and more. It is such a lovely place to stay with everything you need at hand. It is clean, of course, but also so charming. It is well-located to beach, Granville Market, shopping and great restaurants.

Home Away from Home for Family with teens

When my husband got called out of town for an emergency, I drove the kids up to Vancouver BC for spring break alone. Our Kitsilano rental was ideal. There was enough space for three kids (ages 11-13-14) and me to all get our own space. Our hosts brought in an inflatable bed and padded cot so that we all had bed space.

The yard gave us some additional room, though it was raining much of our March visit. When the sun did break out, our son loved having the trampoline to burn off some energy.

The location is ideal. Close to restaurants, to rental bikes, to grocery stores, etc. First night in town we went to Rise and Shine ice cream (4 blocks) for a tasty treat. We considered the line out the door as a good sign and we weren't disappointed. (Go for the Salted Caramel or Malted Chocolate Honeycomb!) Also had the best tonkatsu raman at Danbo, within easy walking distance. My kids also liked the dried fruit and nut shop, Ayoub's, on 4th ave.

Kitchen was quite large with full size appliances and we ended up cooking a lot to save on costs. We were able to walk to 4 grocery stores in the area for ingredients. My only complaint on the apartment was that there were minimal starter items in the kitchen: a little sugar, coffee and tea. Beyond that, we had to buy everything. I'd love to see some oil, salt and pepper and spices, at a minimum.

Others have said that parking is tricky in the neighborhood, and it is. A couple times we could park right outside the home and a couple times we were five blocks away. Mostly, it was about 3 blocks. I considered it a good way to keep my step count up --and justify ice cream later.

We had a couple questions about the unit during our stay and the hosts were very quick to respond and help. Recommend!!
