This magnificent home in beautiful Oceanside is a perfect place to stay at while enjoying everything the northern coast has to offer. Featuring absolutely gorgeous views of the ocean, a spacious and modern interior, dog-friendly attitude, and a private hot tub, this home has everything you need to enjoy your vacation in style.
With a great location just a quarter-mile from the beach, you may be content to spend your time beachcombing or walking the sandy shores, stop at a cafe for lunch, and spend the evenings relaxing in the lovely house. If you want more activity options, Tillamook, just a 15-minute drive east, has a variety of great restaurants, stores, and two amazing cheese factories. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the hiking and biking trails, fishing and boating available nearby, and driving three miles north to visit the charming Cape Meares Lighthouse.
The home itself is fabulous: three bedrooms (each with a queen-size bed and one with an additional crib for infants), three bathrooms, and two decks with fantastic ocean views. Up to eight people are welcome to stay here (six adults maximum), though you could bring a few extra small children. This property is very dog-friendly, so feel free to bring up to two dogs (with an additional nightly fee) to enjoy a frolic on the beach with the rest of the family!
An exquisite full kitchen will delight any cooks in your group with its modern style, gleaming stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and all the tools you may need to cook up any type of meal. The living room has plenty of places for everyone to sit (it even has a dog bed!), and a fun bench-seating area nearby would be a great place for everyone to gather for a leisurely dinner.
Upstairs, the bedrooms offer plush, comfortable beds where everyone will sleep soundly. One of the bathrooms even has a fabulous jetted bathtub that would be perfect for a relaxing bubble bath. Outside on the deck you will find patio furniture forming a great area to sit an breathe in the salty ocean air, plus a hot tub where you can enjoy a nice, warm soak in the bubbles after a long day of walking on the beach.
This home would be ideal for a large family or group of friends to stay in comfort and style while they enjoy a beach-focused vacation. And, with Tillamook 15 minutes away and Netarts only six minutes down the road, you will find plenty of restaurants, shops, and activities to keep everyone happy.
A stay at this tantalizing home just a few blocks from the ocean is a fabulous opportunity to experience the beach and the wonderful area around Oceanside.
*Cell phone service will stop after Netarts, and is extremely unreliable in all of Oceanside*
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
This property was comfortable and did have a nice set up for 3 couples as there were 3 bedrooms with same size beds and 3 bathrooms. We also liked that they allowed pets.
Cons were that carpets and furnishings were quite stained. I understand this is a rental but I've never stayed anywhere where this was in such poor condition. Also there was an ant problem in the kitchen and bathrooms. Traps were laid out but when you have ants crawling on your towels in the bathroom I think it's time to call in professional help with the issue.
For once a property that truly matched, if not exceeded, its online description and photos. Easy access to the beach, relaxing hot tub with wonderful views. All of the ammenities we needed for a family weekend getaway.
Great place to take the family to the coast for the weekend. Clean, cozy, and functional.
We loved the home; however, it was not equipped for the serious storms that rolled up over the weekend. The power went out because of the storms. The flashlight we found was dead. The emergency radio was missing an antenna and did not work. The candles we found had no wicks. I'd advocate for the owners having a functioning emergency kit available. Will every weekend have tornadoes and storm surges, probably not. But it is really necessary when those things do happen.
This was overall a nice house with good amenities but there needs to be a bit more attention to details. If I were to recommend it to someone I would relay information regrading the issues we found.
Great house and perfect for three couples. Great location and view of the ocean just as advertised. Very well equipped with just about everything you would need to cook, etc.
