Exclusive apartment in small bourgeois building near the Bois de Vincennes

Exclusive apartment on the ground chased overlooking garden with all comfort, refurbished in 2003. Located in Saint Mande (94160) in the Lake Street in eastern Paris proper, touching the XII th district of Paris and a few meters from the Bois de Vincennes (Possible jogging), the apartment is located in a small building in a neighborhood 'bourgeois'. It allows to go to Paris with the subway to 600 m (St Mandé Tourelles) while remaining quiet at night. Centrally located, it is the good side of Paris to get to Disneyland Paris. Its oak floors and ceiling moldings have been preserved and renovated like the rest of the apartment. The bedding is comfortable including the sofa bed mattress wide width comfort. The apartment overlooks the courtyard side, garden (not private). It has a kitchen (microwave, oven, dishwasher, etc) with a large table of 6 seats, large living room, a small bedroom and a bathroom.

Excellent location

Fantastic location right on the edge of the woods, but also on the best metro line to see all the best sights in Paris (line 1) - and within walking distance of a perfectly restored medieval castle that wasn't even mentioned by the Lonely Planet guide (Chateau de Vincennes). The house itself is well equipped, with good cooking facilities and sleeps four adults comfortably. It is in a lovely area, with loads of small shops (3 bakeries within 200 meters walking distance!) and not at all touristy. A great market four mornings a week and a bigger supermarket (Monoprix) than you seem to get in central Paris. It really felt like we were living among the Parisians, not the tourists. We had great fun. Hope you do too.

Pleasant apartment

We have spent good times in this spacious apartment just outside the Peripherique. The apartment is situated in a cosy neighborhood with all kind of shops and restaurants with everything you need. The beautiful Bois de Vincennes is just a few footsteps away and also the metrostation is a just a short walk. The apartment is even better than as shown in the photos: a beautiful hallway welcomes you, the kitchen is spacious and the two other rooms are tastfully furnished. The garden is a common garden (with no one in it), but northly situated. The sofa-bed is of good quality. The only minus perhaps is that our little son slept in the room with the bathroom, so we had to sneak through his room in order to use the bathroom.

It is possible to buy temporary internet-/wifi-access at Orange, for example 10 hours for €15. In the shopping-street closeby there is a launderette for washing your clothes.

We enjoyed our stay!
