Missouri Condo Rental Photos and Description

2 Bedroom, 2 Bath with amazing view and location.

2 bedroom, 2 bath. King in one, full size and bunkbeds in the second. Fully furnished. Pack your overnight bag and pool towels and head for the lake. There are two pools, tennis courts, basketball, hiking, shopping, and restaurants you'll want to go back to.

Grill on the balcony is ready to go! Grocery store within a mile. Also a clubhouse featuring exercise/gym equipment.

Sorry but no smoking and no pets allowed in this unit.

Very close to Bagnell Dam strip, Osage Beach yet on very quiet HorseShoe Bend with Baxters and JB Hooks nearby. Pull out on the lake and go left to everything in Osage Beach or right to Gators. We have WI-FI!

Nice view!

The property has a beautiful view. The décor and furnishings were updated and very nicely done. The condo was very clean. The only thing I didn't care for was the upfront damage deposit, which we were aware of at time of booking. We've rented at the lake many times and never had to do this, so I was a little concerned because it was more than the 2 days of the rental. We checked out on 06.14.15 and received the refund of the fee on 06.17.15, so it took 3 days for us to get it back. The rental process was easy on HomeAway. An enjoyable weekend and a pleasant condo.

Memorable, Memorial Day Weekend!

Staying at this location provided me and my family a Memorial Day weekend to remember! The condo has everything you need to be more than comfortable and has access to many great amenities. It is located within a reasonable distance from many of the Ozark's hotspots. I would recommend anyone to stay at this location and I plan on visiting again with my family in the future if that tells you anything.

Great stay!

Enjoyed our stay. Condo was nicer even than the online pictures. It was comfortable and clean. Great view of the lake. Only downsides we're no TV in the master bedroom and there were a lot of hills and steps. But we would definitely stay there again.

Stay away-- horrible experience!!!!!

I was shocked by how dirty the condo was when we arrived. The toilets were black on the inside from being so dirty, the floor had bits of crackers and old food all over it, the refrigerator had jelly wiped on the inside of it, the bathroom floors had hair from the prior people on them, the kitchen had dirt on the floor, the unit wasn't dusted, the top bunk bed wasn't made, the blinds in the master bedroom didn't work, a trash can wasn't emptied, and the water didn't work! I sent pictures to the owner of the unit and finally the last straw was when I went to wash my hands and the water didn't work. I called the owner and told him about my experience after only just a little bit of being in the unit. I took plenty of pictures as proof of the conditions.

When I told the owner about the top bunk bed not being made his response was, "I don't expect my 5'2 cleaner to climb up there and make the top bunk." However, he did expect the person paying for the condo (us!) for the weekend and paying extra for cleaning to put the sheets on the bed to be able to use it.

Unfortunately, during our stay a child looked out the front door blinds and bent them. Before renting the condo the owner said the process for returning the deposit was:the cleaner would check everything and get back to him what's wrong or if everything was ok then he would send the refund in two days. Let's just say that's not the process! The cleaner told him about the blinds and he got very upset. He said we should have gone to the store and replaced the blinds ourselves. We put down a large refundable deposit and he wanted us to go and buy all the supplies and the blinds and put them up ourselves. He charged us four times the cost of the actually cost of the blinds and a large amount for "his time" to replace them. We asked for a receipt for proof of the cost of the blinds and we never received one (he said he would send it and didn't).

There was a total of two rolls of toilet paper in the condo (for five people for a full weekend) and we had to go and buy more.

Two of the pics on this site aren't of his condo, he added two pictures to try to make his condo look bigger (pics are from fitness center)!

Owner's Response: This review was expected as the tenant complained of issues from the time she arrived. Please take the time to read my full response. I bought this condo 2 years ago and it is a very clean and nice condo. The other review on VRBO reveals that info as well. I have seen the condo post-cleaning by my housekeeper Karen, and it is immaculate. Karen has been cleaning for me and my friends who are owners for over 15 years without incident. She cleaned my condo three days before this tenant’s arrival and the unit was clean. I have been informed by other unit owners that some tenants complain about things in order to get free nights etc. I stand behind my housekeeper despite anything this tenant writes. Facts: The unit was clean when the tenant arrived. The toilets are clean but when the unit is not used and the seat is down there is no air circulation and with the air-conditioner set on 80 when not in use, sometimes some bacteria does develop. It usually flushes away the first time. The floor did not have crackers or old food on them. The brand new, 2 week old, refrigerator did have some jelly on the shelf from the prior tenant. It was cleaned as soon as it was found. The unit was dusted with the exception of the DVD player/Cable box. The beds are made with the exception of the top bunk in the second bedroom. I do not expect my housekeeper to make this one bed. She places clean sheets/pillow cases on the top bunk should the tenant choose to use this bed. All of the blinds in my condo work. Most condo associations mandate the water be shut off when the condo is not in use. I instructed the tenant how to turn the water on and she did. This tenant damaged my metal blinds on the front door. She also damaged a piece of artwork in the master bedroom. She did not report any of the damage to me. I did not suggest the tenant go and replace the blinds herself. I said if I hired a carpenter/contractor to replace the blinds, they would want $200. I only wanted $75 including the cost of the blinds. I said if you think you could do it for less than you should have done it. We have always left 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom on every renter unless they are staying for more than 2 nights. I’ve never had anyone complain about this before. The two photos she is speaking of are of our clubhouse showing the exercise equipment. They are labeled club house. Her accusation of me trying to make my condo look larger is false. I am only showing the amenities of the condo complex.

Map

Horseshoe Bend is ideal by water or land. Close to Bagnell Dam area as well as Osage Beach. The private bend is full of great restaurants, hiking, biking, and golf. Stay at the complex and enjoy the pools, tennis and clubhouse with exercise and party rooms! You will want to go back!!!
