Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
i would definitely come back here again. i was actually planning to book it for this coming feb17-19 2017 but its not available anymore. great weekend house. perfect for 3 family.
When we arrived, it was clear that no one had been there since before the snowstorm hit. The walkway up to the front door had almost two feet of snow on it with no shovel in sight. We had to crawl through the snow to get to the door to look for a shovel but came up empty-handed. We called the property manager to sent someone to deliver a shovel, but no one arrived. Luckily, the neighbors were out and were able to borrow a shovel from them.
We also needed to dig out the bear box the following day and did so with sleds as there still was no shovel delivered. The bear box was full to overflowing as no one had been to the property to empty it.
There were a few things in the property listing that we couldn't track down, like a french press, and a waffle maker. I think the listing needs to be updated to better reflect what one can find.
That said, the property manager ended up delivering a shovel on his own the following day and was apologetic regarding it not being delivered to let us into the cabin. We also called the guest services regarding the bear box and they, too, apologized and made sure we were taken care of. They did everything the could to help.
The amenities need to be updated as there was no french press or waffle iron, but still everything was well-kept and clean. The cabin itself is cozy and fit six adults, two babies, and a shaggy dog with ease. It was nice and warm and we all had a great time. We wished we could have stayed longer.
The property was clean and well stocked with all the essentials in the kitchen, the bedrooms and entertainment. There is an abundance of cooking elements, appliances, wifi, games, coffee makers, hot coco, beddings, etc. The location is great (very close to a safeway) for fun and games. It was very easy checking in and out. The heating needs a little getting used to. The bedrooms can get very ho or very cold. It would be easier to manage if the windows and doors were double pane. Other than that, it was perfect.
We liked the house and the location very much. We were on a family vacation with a 2 year old, so we planned to cook all meals except for one night out. The kitchen could have used some more utensils, pots, and pans etc. to make cooking easier: 2 large broken plastic serving spoons could have been easily replaced; only 4 steak knives & 2 wine glasses; no frying pan big enough to cook sausage, bacon, or eggs for 8 people...2 small ones did not suffice; no large baking pans to cook casseroles; and no dishwasher soap. The garbage box outside held 2 completely full garbage cans from the previous guests....no room for our garbage to be taken out and no extra bags. There was only enough soap for one load of towels and sheets, and we were happy to accommodate your request to start a load but could have started another 2 loads prior to leaving. With a few simple additions....your kitchen would be greatly improved, and 'd love to rent again! I hope you consider this for your future guests. Happy New Year!
The property was gorgeous, clean and fully stocked. It was very conveniently located and the kitchen feels like home with everything you can ever need to make meals for a everybody. The WIFI worked great and the entertainment amenities were so helpful.
Really enjoyed my Tahoe weekend with my 7 friends (and our dog!) at Kings Beach. We came up for the Xterra triathlon. It was a great location, only a 10 min drive from the triathlon location, so very easy to get to. The place itself was very well taken care of. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend.
