Vacasa - Vacation Rentals Made Easy:
Professionally managed and cleaned homes
Local assistance 24/7 for emergencies
Secure INSTANT booking
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
I loved Kings Beach and the cabin was wonderful. The smell of the woods from the deck was so nice. My Father really appreciated the hot tub for working out the kinks from the travel.
Just a note, there were many in the area who plated loud music, this was fine for us, but others might not like it. One night we had the windows open and were awoken by loud (I believe inhebriated) walkers.
All in all this was a great experience - the property is great for families.
When we arrived later than our check in time, the house had not been cleaned. I called the management company and was told they would send someone out right away. Two hours later we had heard nothing so I called again. I was then informed that they wouldn't be able to send a cleaning crew out until the following day. We washed sheets and towels and made it presentable for the rest of our stay. The management company did reimburse us a portion of our cleaning fee.
The home was very nice and comfortable. It was in a very convenient area, close to everything and a very quiet neighborhood.
One huge thing our family absolutely adored with this place was the location. The house was set in a pretty busy neighborhood but that didn't bother us at all. The house was a quick, no less than ten min walk to the beach. Which was nice because unfortunately the whole entire neighborhood was under construction and the road was closed for the first two days we were there. I don't want to put this in my review because I know this has nothing to do with the house, but the day we arrived there was mass construction going on. I realize that with winter, the majority of road work will be done in the summer but they started as early 6am. It was beyond frustrating. There should have been a warning from Vacasa or at least some sort of credit to offer for the hassle. Luckily for us the road paving and constructed ended the second day we were there. It was 1,000 times nicer to enjoy the house with things so quiet. Another issue we had was the hot tub. The first time I opened the hot tub I noticed a ton of sand and dirt at the bottom I read extensively that if the hot tub was dirty I would be charged an extra cleaning fee. I wrote an email right away to make aware the hot tub was never cleaned upon our arrival. The beds were not very comfortable but everything was clean and our family did enjoy our stay. There was one bedroom upstairs and two downstairs with both bathrooms being good size. The washer and dryer was very nice and made things great for doing laundry. The place specified there were games but we couldn't find a single game that had all the pieces together. The kitchen was big and the living room was a good size with lots of seating. We used the BBQ which worked great also. All in all I would refer this place to a friend, granted that there is no construction in the area.
Our stay at Wanderlust was less than relaxing. The house was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. However the first morning we were awakened at 6am by multiple dump trucks, rock crushing machines and paving machines directly in front of the house. The orange cones must have been put out early all around the neighborhood stating that construction would occur on the road from 6 to 4. I am surprised that they were permitted to start so early. I spoke to a couple homeowners who said that they were notified of the planned construction weeks ago. That should have been disclosed to us or we would have stayed elsewhere. So hiding that from us was wrong. We had to leave to escape the noise which required some assistance from the construction workers to navigate around all of the equipment. The noise was astounding- literally shook the house! Otherwise the house was great.
