Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
We were rented this house last minute when our original rental had a heating problem, so it was a comparable replacement. This house was bigger and had a great deck right on the river, which was nice. This house was located far back on a dead end road but there were quite a few other houses close by. The neighbor dogs, which didn't look that friendly, did chase our car on one occasion and I didn't feel comfortable walking around with our dog. We stepped in dog poop several times on the property, which was annoying. (from the neighbor dogs maybe)
Had a great time this weekend at Papa Bear Cabin - it was good for the soul. Lovely secluded setting. Awesome (huge) hot tub overlooking the river. Old school fireplace created great ambiance. Also a great collection of old VHS tapes, it's been a while since we've watched Cool Runnings...
we really enjoyed our stay. the neighbors were very friendly and like to visit with you. There were a few dogs around but they were nice also. The hot tub was great :)
The "cabin" is well furnished, clean and located within minutes to necessities of food and evening activities.Mt. Hood and all it has to offer is within a short auto ride. The interior decor is straight up cabin appeal with nuances of modern living comforts such as dishwasher and laundry. The main room was perfect for gathering and enjoying the views of nature and the "babbling brook" out back. Wonderful spot!
