About Vacasa, CA - Lake Tahoe

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Fawn Lodge was wonderful!

 • 4 of 5

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fawn Lodge. The appliances were new and easy to use. The property was clean and well maintained. We did have an issue with the hot tub not working, but Vacasa sent someone out immediately to look at it. Unfortunately it still could not be fixed during our stay.

The home is surrounded by trees, we enjoyed the quietness of the area and the beauty of being nearly secluded.

It was an all around wonderful experience.

Perfect price perfect location

I'll admit I was a little concerned reading passed reviews. But me and my friends we're completely satisfied and happy with the entrie cabin. The hot tub is amazing, good for star gazing. It fit us all perfectly and comfortably. We wish we had a longer visit! The only issues we ran into was the BBQ didn't work very well. The dryer and dishwasher need to be replaced as well but other then that I would stay here again! Definitely worth the trip and the money!

Try somewhere else first.

The place was not cleaned upon arrival after a 12 hour day of travelling we were not happy. The couch is filthy and we covered it with blankets to be able to sit on it. The property had mass amounts of trash collected in the garage and surrounding. There were empty beer bottles on the deck. The refrigerator smell like fish and we poured a cleaner in one of the drawers to mask the smell.

The dishwasher does not work, and the grill outside either does not work or is so poorly maintained that it will not work properly. We used one of the empty beer bottles laying on the deck to help offset the broken wheel on the grill but we ended up using the oven. The wooden table on the patio needs to be thrown away and replaced. There were no dishtowels to speak of. The advertisement said there were wine glasses on site but there were none, and no wine opener either. The hot tub works great but the cover has damage and if your not at least of average strength it will be very hard to pull the cover back over the tub.

I have emailed the management company several times and they have not once responded to any of my emails.
