Hello! I was born and raised in the Bay Area and lived here all my life. I attended California State University Hayward and graduated with a degree in Purchasing and Materials Management. I work as a Sr. Buyer/Planner at a company in the Silicon Valley. When I'm not at work, I'm at home with my husband, daughter and our dog Abby.
Diana purchased this cabin in 2013
Growing up my sisters and I spent all our summer vacation's at our grandparent's cabin in Kings Beach just 1.8 miles away from Tahoe Vista. Some of our fondest memories were catching crawdads at the lake, rafting down the Truckee river, and watching fireworks on the lake during 4th of July. We picked the Tahoe Vista area because it's close to our extended family's cabin.
We hope you choose our cabin to stay and enjoy your time at Tahoe.
We chose this property because we liked the open floor plan, high vaulted ceilings and the windows looking outside at the pine and fir trees. We love the fact the open living room, dining room and kitchen has plenty of light. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Everyone that lives in this neighborhood are super nice!
What an incredible log cabin situation just off the high street filled with restaurants and shops. We came to ski but the weather played spoil sport. Didn't matter as the game room downstairs kept us fully entertained. I had a wonderful weekend and would recommend this place to my friends.
We stayed for a couple of nights (4 adults and three kids). The Cabin is very comfortable and well appointed. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, bedroom and bathrooms. The living room and kitchen has a great room feel to it. The fireplace made for perfect evenings. We could locate the fire wood easily and found the matchbox near the fireplace. It would have been nice to have more kindle though we managed just fine. The game room in the basement was a hit with everyone. Kids refused to move out of the game room and we had to cancel a local dinner reservation on one night. Kids loved being in the second floor bed area which opens to the living space and has a cute (but very spacious) attic feel to it. The bathrooms were adequate for two small families.
We would love to stay again.
Great and comfortable house with plenty of room. The Basement Game room is a huge plus! Kitchen well stocked and comfy beds. Would stay again.
We loved our week at your cabin! There was plenty of space for six of us and the game room provided the entertainment. You have generously supplied each room with all the essentials. We enjoyed Sandy Beach down the road, miniature golf in Kings Beach and walks in the woods. In our search for a cabin in Tahoe Vista we have decided that yours is the best!! Thanks so much!
We have vacationed in Tahoe Vista for many years and needed a larger cabin for our growing family. This cabin fit the bill, well kept and clean. Enough room for us all and very comfortable. Game room was great. The only issue we had were the slow draining sinks in both bathrooms. We would book again.
Great location, fully equiped house, lots of amusement facilities for the kids and cosy porch. We would absolutely book this cabin again!
We really enjoyed our vacation at the cabin. The house was well stocked and very clean. Lots of meds and room for the kids. Close enough to the lake, but not in the crowds of the Fourth of July weekend. The game room was a huge hit with the kids and adults. We even saw a bear outside the bedroom window one morning. We will definitely stay again! Thank you for sharing your home with us :)
