You will love our beautifully remodeled 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home with the Pacific Ocean and beautiful palm trees right outside your back door. Enjoy spectacular ocean and Maui mountain views from nearly everywhere in the house, and a beautiful sandy beach just a quick walk from your lanai. It is walking distance to downtown Lahaina, or use one of the 4 bikes we make available to our guests.

Sit outside and enjoy the view and ocean breezes from either the downstairs lanai,the beautiful upstairs deck off the master bedroom or from your own hammock. The views are spectacular.

There is a king bed in the master bedroom facing the ocean, a queen bed in the second bedroom on the mountain side, and a third bedroom with views of the ocean and mountains with a king bed and a twin bed. (The king can be converted to two twin beds, for a total of three twin beds in the upstairs bedroom.) There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room on the first floor.

The beautiful butcher block table in the large gourmet kitchen makes a perfect and inviting gathering place for friends and family. You will find all the comforts of home here.

If you have never been to Puamana, you will want to return year after year as we did. Puamana is a beautiful, gated oceanfront community on 30 acres of lovingly maintained tropical grounds. There are three swimming pools (including one right on the ocean), tennis and badminton courts, a restored plantation home/club house, and large grassy open spaces overlooking the ocean, with hammocks for lounging in the sun. And Puamana is a well-known surf spot that residents can access right from the property!

Great shopping, souvenir collecting and outdoor activities are all nearby. Being so close to downtown Lahaina and so many great beaches and activities is of particular interest to many of our guests.

Maui weather is generally nice all year round, and Lahaina is known as the 'sunniest' part of the island. And because Puamana is on the west shore, the sunsets are spectacular!

About Jacqueline Marcus

My husband and I grew up in the Midwest, but we have always loved water, especially the ocean. Ever since our honeymoon in Maui, we found ourselves drawn back to this beautiful island as often as possible.

Why Jacqueline Marcus chose Maui

With three boys in tow, we explored the island and stayed at many different resorts and townhomes through the years -- in Kihea, Kahana, Kaanapali, Wailea and Kapalua, but we knew we found our home when we chanced upon the breathtakingly beautiful Puamana development in Lahaina. We all fell in love. We found ourselves coming back year after year, so one year we decided to invest in our own Maui Beach Home.

perfect venue for our daughter's wedding!

Puamana is the best. This house has an incredible view with whales and turtles abound. The amenities were perfect for our family celebration. My favorite part of the day was drinking coffee on the lanai with the fam while watching the sun slowly light up the sky. Amazing. We will be back!

Oceanfront

Wonderful and tranquile location. We enjoyed our stay and had all the amenities of home. Locking the glass slider door and main floor AC were a little tricky. Use of the bikes, hammock and master bedroom lanai were a great bonus.

Beautiful view.

The house and the view were absolutely beautiful. There were a few issues with the house. It was not very clean. And the back patio doors were very hard to lock. It took my sister and I an hour and a half to clean once we got there. We had went to vacuum the carpet and the vacuum was so full that it could not handle any more. But showers, sinks, carpets were dirty and one toilet had not even been cleaned. I had notified Jacquelin and to this day I have never heard back. That is the most upsetting thing. I wasn't asking for any money back but it would have at least been nice to hear an (I'm sorry). The home is absolutely beautiful so it is sad to have a cleaning service that is not up to par.

They also ask for you to keep the room AC units off when not there. Which is no big deal but it would have helped to cool the rooms down faster if the AC filters had at least been cleaned. ( Which I had suggested).

Just FYI to get to the beach you have to go down to a walk up access gate and enter the public beach area. It says you can exit the house and go to the right by the club house to enter the beach but they have placed a bunch of rocks there to help from erosion and it is very difficult to get to the water from there.

Over all the home and view are beautiful. We did enjoy the hammock out back and watching the whales.

Owner's Response: I feel terrible that you had some issues when you arrived at our home. I am also so sorry that I never got your email or text or call about the problems. I don't understand it -- I checked my phone and email history and couldn't find anything from you. My guests are my priority, and I would have asked our cleaning crew to come in immediately to handle issues. I will let them know immediately the details of your problems so that they can be handled. It is always good for her to know so that she can identify the cleaning crew that handled that cleaning. As for the back door, the lock handle has to be horizontal when closed, and then pushed down for locking. We have twice hung signs on the door handle, but they crazily disappear. Please apologize to your other guests as well. Again, I am very sorry you were not completely excited about the home. And to help me figure out the communication breakdown, would you please let me know the way you were trying to contact me. Jacqueline Marcus

Beautiful,scenic oceanfront home.

Had a lovely 2 week stay at this property. The sunsets were incredible every evening and we had dinner outside just about every night. The Puamana grounds are beautifully maintained and you can fall asleep to the sound of waves outside your window at night.

There is lots to do in Maui and the home is central to everything. We enjoyed whale watching, snorkelling,shopping,surfing and of course the many beaches.

It was a truly memorable holiday to celebrate our 40 th Anniversary with our family. The house accomadated our large group, definitely enough space for 6+ people. Don't miss happy hour in Lahaina!

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! DEFINITELY COMING BACK

Hi! Sorry for the delayed review. We stayed in this Puamana unit for 9 days in September of 2016 and every detail in the description in the listing of it is accurate. We have been coming to Maui for 30 years and we have stayed in every type of accommodation on the west side of Maui from 5 star resorts to condos. This unit in Puamana is by far our favorite. It is truly oceanfront and views are stunning and unobstructed. We always stock up in Kahului at Costco by the airport on our way to Lahaina, and the kitchen and BBQ have absolutely everything we needed to cook several meals during our stay. We made very good use of the patio for dining and enjoying the view and sunsets. The bikes are a huge bonus and we used them daily to ride into town. We have family living in Maui and we frequently stay with them so over the years our family has enjoyed just about every activity available and we are content to just relax and enjoy the island life. However, it was the first visit to Maui for my 23 year-old daughter's boyfriend, so they took advantage of the perfect location to hike, surf, snorkel, bike, and generally enjoy many adventures Maui offers. We really enjoyed the oceanside swimming pool which is very unique to Maui. Thank you so much for sharing you home with us.

LOVELY BEACHFRONT HOUSE WITH A STUNNING VIEW

Our family just spent a wonderful week at the house. The accommodation suited us well and the amenities were great. We found it difficult at first to get into the water from the access point along the beach but, after we had found the rock shoes (plenty of sizes to choose from), we enjoyed many swims and some surfing. The view from the upstairs lanai was gorgeous and being so close to large, breaking surf was exciting. We loved visiting Lahaina; we usually drove in or the kids cycled in. The activity/restaurant recommendations from the owners were very helpful. We also enjoyed the oceanside swimming pool. The house is quite a long way away from the Club House, pool and gate but was good exercise for us.
