About the property

House, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 4

This gorgeous oceanfront Yachats vacation rental has incredible views, a modern interior, a dog-friendly attitude, and a convenient yet isolated location!

This home is on a cliff with incredible views of the Pacific Ocean just seven miles south of Yachats. Stonefield Beach State Wayside and Heceta Head Lighthouse are about a quarter of a mile south for stunning beach access, whale watching, or a tour of the lighthouse during the summer months. Hop in the car for a blissful coastal drive along Cape Perpetua, check out Devil's Churn, or choose one of the many beautiful hikes or mountain bike rides nearby!

The interior of this home is all about luxury with high ceilings, huge windows, and beautiful views from nearly every room. The living room boasts stunning floor-to-ceiling windows, a gas fireplace, and cozy white couches.

The full kitchen opens up directly to the living area and has beautiful wooden cabinets, a large center island, and anything you need to prep a delicious meal. With a stunning patio to sip your coffee on in the morning or catch the sunset, WiFi, and a great DVD collection, this home has it all to keep a family or few friends entertained for the weekend.

Upstairs, the master bedroom has ample space to spread out as well as a welcoming queen-size bed and sitting area. The attached private bathroom has a jetted tub with beautiful views of the ocean. On the opposite end of the house, the second bedroom has a twin bed and a trundle, so two people (or kids) can comfortably sleep here. This room also has its own private bathroom, so there won't be any waiting in line in the morning. There's also an open office area and library on the top floor where you can get some work done or simply relax and read while enjoying the gorgeous views.

Simply enjoy the beautiful views through your backyard, or head to Stonefield Beach State Wayside for some swimming or surfing. It's only a few minutes to Yachats to grab an amazing latte, peruse some of the cute boutiques or treat yourself to a meal. The larger areas of Lincoln City and Coos Bay are both within about an hour and a half drive and have incredible scenery and more urban areas.

Get a dose of some of Oregon's best coastline by checking out this stunning Yachats vacation rental!

Great view, loud location.

We got away on a whim, and were excited to find this house. The house is nice, we have no complaints about the house itself. My main complaint is that I am a light sleeper, and the traffic was very audible outside the bedroom windows. Also we were excited to be "on" the beach, but there is no beach access from the house. We loved the sitting bench, and watching the beach from there, but would have liked beach access without getting in our car. We did walk down the road once for beach access, but it was worrisome as the traffic roared past, so I wouldn't recommend that , especially if you have children!

The house was clean, well equipped, and would be a perfect place to "hold up" in a storm.

Beautiful views, very relaxing!

  • 4 of 5

The house is beautiful; a perfect blend of modern structure and antique furniture pieces. The bathtub was very relaxing and there is a large selection of books on hand. Although there are two parking spaces, parking was still a little awkward for our full size king cab truck, so be sure that are cautious when parking. It's close to the highway, but noise really wasn't a factor; it didn't bother us at all. The view is to DIE for and Peter Cottontail came to visit us every morning right off the back porch. So if you bring a pet friend with you and they wake you up early in the morning barking, they're just saying hi :-)

Loved this place,if you like a private place to read, write, watch moves, or listen to music, & be left alone, with a beautiful view, & a awsome house. I would like to stay at The point of view again, next winter, so Peaceful! Everything I needed was there.

Beautiful setting, very close to the highway, difficult to find

  • 4 of 5

For those looking for a place with a stunning ocean view, this is it. It is NOT beach accessible, as it is up on a cliff, overlooking the beach. It sits right on the highway (at times during the night, I actually wondered if a truck was going to come through the wall). The bedroom does not have an ocean view. Master shower water is hot; could not find a way to cool it down. Was either hot, or off. They request that you start a load of laundry when you leave. Would be nice if they washed the mattress pad, as it looked like someone wet the bed, and the pad was not washed (didn't discover this until I stripped the bed to leave). House is managed by a company, so owner pride is simply not there. Mattress is HARD. To find the house, coming from the north, cross over the bridge, and it is on the right. It is between mile marker 171 and 172 (you'll need this as it is NOT 4.76 miles from Yachats; Google gives pretty good directions). House had some basic spices; no oils. Has tiny ants all over the kitchen, so put food items in fridge or microwave. House is clean. It states it sleeps 4, but unless you put someone on the (white) sofa, that isn't true, as it has a twin, and a Queen. Views are spectacular, and sitting on the bench, drinking wine (or your choice of libation), and watching the sunset, is amazing!
