Punta Arrocito is perfectly located on 'the point' for amazing sunrises and sunsets. It is the heart of this quaint area between the hotel zone and the main marina.
We are located right on the ocean; away from highway or 'downtown' noise.
Lay back on your terrace and watch whales or dolphins swim by.
2 bedrooms; master with kingsize bed
2 bathrooms; one main and one off the master
Full kitchen with stainless steel appliances
Full terrace facing the ocean
2 swimming pools with games area
Lots of friendly Canadians live or rent there.
Playa Arrocito is only a 4 minute walk away.
Aside from rentals, we have some units for sale as well.
Condo was everything as described and more. Had excellent communication with owner who went above and beyond . The pictures do not do the place justice. Views were fantastic. With 2 beautiful clean pools, the only time you need to leave the secure, gated complex is to eat at any of the great restaurants in town or get groceries for some home style cooking back at the condo.Condo is high scale at an affordable price. Proximity to beautiful beaches and to el centro was perfect(10 minute cab ride to town 35 pesos and 70-80 pesos will get you to many beautiful beaches in the area).Highly recommend this place to any visitors to Huatulco. First time here, won't be our last:):):)
We stayed at Punta Arrocito during the Christmas, New Years weeks 2014-15. It was truly a delight. The 4 condo buildings are on a cliff right on the edge of the Ocean. Views from anywhere on site were truly breathtaking. This gated complex is very safe, quiet and mostly Canadian's from the people we chatted with around the pools. There are 2 pools on site, and both very lovely although the one that looks over Arrocito Bay is my fav, especially in the morning. Each condo unit is equiped with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and the master bath is very well appointed. Granite counters in the kitchen and laundry room ensuite made this property very easy to stay in. Also found the Wifi a little sketchy in the condo but it was fine sitting on a bench outside and well it's Mexico and I'm on holiday so not a worry. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks Janice and Nile.
Our stay in Huatulco at Punta Arrocito was wonderful. Everything about the condo was as described on the website. The views of the ocean were amazing from our balcony and master bedroom, and the view of the mountains from the front door was equally beautiful. Nile was a pleasure to work with in planning for our arrival. He answered the many questions I had for him promptly and completely.
Playa Arrocito is a short walk from the condo buildings. It's a beautiful location but the sand was rather coarse and difficult to walk on. However, the Cosmo building adjacent to the beach offers bar service and food at decent prices.
While we were there we did two tours that I booked before our arrival. The first was the Safari Tour to the Zimitan River. It was a fabulous all day adventure and Miles was a great guide. The second was the 7 bay jet ski tour through Huatulco Watersports. You drive the jet skis to/through 7 of Huatulco's bays and then snorkel at one of them. Luis was great. Both tours are listed on Trip Advisor and I highly recommend both. We also bought day passes to the Dreams Resort all-inclusive. For $30pp US you could spend 5 hours at the complex and use all of the amenities, including all you can eat and drink. We thought it was a great value.
The condo development has wifi but it can be sketchy depending on where you are located. We couldn't get a signal from inside our condo but could connect if we stood outside the front door. Or anywhere near the upper pool had good access.
Getting around the area we simply used cabs. (The security gate guard will call them for you). We never felt like we needed to rent a car. The taxis are cheap....$3-4 pretty much wherever you want to go locally. We also used them to get to the grocery store. I recommend Soriana over Super Che. However, if you use a taxi to get to Soriana make sure they wait for you to return. There isn't a taxi stand there like there is at Super Che.
There are two pools on site and they were never crowded, although they could add a few more lounge chairs. They filled up fast. There is no "bar" on site, but right outside the gate is a local fellow (Lolo) that serves up mighty tasty cocktails for less than $5 US. I recommend the pina coladas and the cocados. To die for!
I would definitely recommend this property and would definitely return if we can. It was a great to stay for a family of four, including two teenagers.
