Oriental riad on the south of France. An oasis perfect for a change of scenery and rest, we promise you will be in a very Zen environment. The Prefectorial Classification 4 stars, insures you a residence of good comfort, and high-quality.

The riad has 2 buildings, one 120 m² two-storey house of , 35 m² lounge, 70 m² suite with a 50 m large baroque living room. Luxurious amenities. Exotic environment with palm trees, banana trees, yuccas, Mediterranean plants, and oak trees that will make you enjoy the shaded garden.

The pool (8x5x4) is secured by alarm .

The terraces, patios and several lounges as well as the barbecue located in the summer kitchen will allow you to enjoy the different atmospheres during the day and the evening. You will enjoy the terrace next to the pool where you can have your meals unless you prefer the one close to the summer kitchen or in the shade of the oak trees in the garden. The property is completely fenced and not visible, located in a tranquil residential area, close to the garigue and the kermes oak woods.

Arab-Andalusian architecture: The riad has two buildings, Villa Samira, very bright, with an oriental environment, Arab-Andalusian architecture, tastefully furnished, oriental carpets and One Thousand and One atmosphere in the lounges and the three bedrooms, the patios is surrounded by arcs with Moorish curves, with view of the pool. Several terraces and outdoor spaces where you can change atmosphere throughout the day and night, and do not forget the bower in Majorelle blue, at the end of the park, for those who appreciate some alone time. The house is spacious and everyone can have their own space, it is equipped with high quality amenities. Tali Suite, 75 m². Exquisite villa,garden and pool - wonderful

Four of us stayed in this wonderful villa during the last two weeks of June. Both house and garden are truly beautiful and most unusual, with the Moroccan theme maintained throughout. There are tables, chairs and settees in several parts of the garden so, whether one wants sun or shade, there is always a suitable spot. Our favourite spot was usually around the wonderful pool, so welcome in which to cool down.

Everything one could need was provided in the villa and apartment and the summer kitchen, with its barbecue, was well used.

The whole of the property and facilities were immaculate and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort - we have never seen so many cushions, inside and out!

Jeff (Jean François), the owner, was most friendly and helpful, but discrete.

Small shops for basics are within easy walking distance in the village - e.g. for fresh croissants for breakfast - and supermarkets are just short car journeys away. The villa is also very well placed for exploring the region e.g. the Camargue, Montpellier & the Mediterranean to the south and Uzés & the Pont du Gard to the north.

We had a great lazy, restful holiday in this oasis of calm and tranquility and we would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

Havre de paix

Un lieu vraiment particulier, très bien isolé du bruit, très calme, et où il fait bon se reposer, autour de la magnifique piscine.

La gentillesse du propriétaire et l'attention qu'il porte à ses Clients, complète parfaitement le cadre original de cette villa, installée au cœur d'une région dépaysante et accueillante.

Excellent sejour

Villa de confort, accueillante et dépaysante. Nous avons passé un excellent sejour. L'environnement est calme. La piscine et le jardin sont très agréables et bien entretenus. La cuisine d'été et sa plancha ravira les amateurs de nouvelles saveurs. Le propriétaire est accueillant, disponible et très serviable. La région est riche et typique. Elle invite à la découverte de nombreux sites historiques.

Nous y retournons d'ailleurs l'année avec grand plaisir, pour 3 semaines.

Fantastic house, pool and garden area

Enjoyed a fantastic weeks stay at the end of June, with the family of 5 with 3 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 13. The Villa is as good and even better than the photos provided during the booking. Really nice accommodation with nice Moroccan vibe, large clean swimming pool, surrounded with excellent exotic garden, with a different place to sit every day.

Inside the house is very spacious with large bedrooms for everyone, nice functional kitchen and separate very large studio with own facilities. There was a 2 large wash rooms, one bathroom in the main house and a wet room with show in the studio, both nicely decorated. Nice extra touches in the house were the interior decorations, balcony on one bedroom, plus lounge area that we didn't even use.

Outside, there is a nice eating area next to the kitchen and overlooking the pool and garden. We spent a lot of time here. Nice extra touches are the external kitchen that we used to BBQ and make some real tasty hamburgers, the gazebo and small court yard with closed off street parking.

The location is short 5 min walking distance to small village, to buy some bread for breakfast and accessible when leaving the villa to the right to avoid busy roads. A car is needed to visit the rest of the région Languedoc-Roussillon-Midi-Pyrénées., Sommières is a must. But be careful driving on the narrow tree lined French roads where cars are passing at 90Kph.

The owner Jean-François Penas welcomed us on arrival and was very polite and courteous throughout the stay. Nice touches were keeping the pool and garden in excellent condition through the stay, with unobtrusive early morning start, every other day, almost invisible like a Ninja.

Only small remark would be that the WIFI signal was not strong enough to reach the pool or table area outside the kitchen, although worked fine in the studio. Also the cushions in the studio sofa were a bit soft and required rearranging more than they should. Last small point was the color coding of the 2 sets of keys were inversed which took sometime to figure out and got my confused. These are only small points though already mentioned to Mr Penas so most likely all fixed now.

The whole family really enjoyed the week here and would definitely recommend this location to others. The quality of the house, pool and garden really make it stand out above the locations and well worth 5 stars - Excellent !!

Comme la-bas!

Si vous aimez l'originalité, le calme,c'est bien dans ce riad qu'il faut s'arrêter. Situé dans une oasis de palmiers, de bananiers et de bien d'autres plantes méditéranéennes ,que vous pourrez passer des vacances exotiques à souhait. Le riad très bien aménagé et d'une propreté ,plus que parfaite offre là un confort digne d'un grand hôtel.; j'ai adoré la très jolie cuisine d'été, parée de jolis petits rideaux en guise de portes d'une très jolie faîence bleue.Ce bleu est en rappel un peu partout et m'a fait penser à Chefchouen "la ville bleue au Maroc" .

La piscine , ressemble tout-à fait aux bassins ( mais en plus grand)des riads marocains ,possède aussi une jolie mosaïque bleue.

Le climat , le jardin ombragé, de magnifiques lanternes du pays,enfin le tout donne l'impression d'être comme la -bas, au Maroc!

Le propriétaire est charmant, et très discret mais aussi aux petits soins pour ses locataires.

nous sommes restés 15 jours qui ont filé bien trop vites, mais une chose est sûre, c'est que nous y retournerons .

on ira tous au paradis

Wenn die Ferienzeit die schönste Zeit des Jahres werden soll, dann fährt man zu Jean-Francois !

Wir haben zu 6. (Mitte 20 bis Mitte 50) für zwei Wochen Mitte/Ende Juni 2016 die Möglichkeit gehabt, das Riad Walili als unser Feriendomizil nutzen zu dürfen. Wir machen seit 15 Jahren Ferienhausurlaub in Frankreich. Man kann sagen, dass es die beste Wahl aller Zeiten war. Es war das Paradies.

Das Haus (besser das Anwesen) verspricht nicht nur viel. Es werden auch alle Erwartungen definitiv erfüllt! Jean-Francois informiert im Vorfeld wie ein Profi. Wird man von Jean-Francois empfangen und in sein Riad geführt, wartet ein Begrüßungstrunk und schon dann möchte man ihn vor Freude umarmen. Wenn man Jean-Francois etwas näher kennen lernt, kann man das auch. Wer den Kontakt wünscht, hat ihn. Wer für sich sein möchte, wird Jean-Francois als den guten Geist des Hauses kennen lernen, der sich sehr dezent im Hintergrund hält. Das wäre aber schade. Wenn Jean-Francois das Angebot unterbreitet, für seine Gäse zu kochen: Dann gilt: Ja sagen! Er kocht wie ein Gott.

Das gesamte Anwesen ist liebevoll gepflegt. Die Urlaubsfotos werden von Freunden vor Neid platzend bewundert. Gemütliche Stunden lassen sich am Abend an verschiedenen Plätzen verbringen: auf der Terrasse am beleuchteten Pool oder an der Sommerküche. In der Sommerküche wird à la plancha gegrillt. Das Haus ist voll ausgestattet. Es fehlt nichts. Und für alle, die es nicht sein lassen können: Wifi vorhanden und es läuft.

Sommières wird als nächste Stadt begeistern. Essen am besten dort. Im Ort selbst ist ein Bäcker, ein Fleischer und ein kleiner Tante-Emma-Laden. Alles, was man sonst noch unternehmen will, erfährt man aus den sehr ausführlichen Ausflugtipps, die bereit liegen oder von Jean-Francois.

Urlaub wie er sein soll. Man bucht nicht irgendetwas im Hochglanzprospekt . Man ist dankbar, dass Jean-Francois sein Paradies für Gäste öffnet. Wir werden mit Sicherheit Jean-Francois wieder bitten, erneut seine Gäste sein zu dürfen.
