About Bill and Anne Crousser
Bill and I have been married for 10 years and have lived in the Donelson area for 15 years. We designed and built this house in 2008 and have really enjoyed raising our kids here. We have also owned and operated a licensed locksmith company for over five years in this area. We know that anyone that stays here will be able to build great memories with their friends and families.
Bill and Anne Crousser purchased this House in 2008
Why Bill and Anne Crousser chose Pennington Bend
We fell in love with this area of Nashville because it is so close to everything. We have both always loved the water and just love relaxing on the back porch watching the river.
What makes this House unique
We fell in love with this property because of the beauty of the river. We bought the land then designed and built the house in 2008. It is a country setting in the heart of the city.

THIS HOUSE HAS EVERYTHING!!
The pool, the river, the game room. This house was an absolute blast! That being said, here were our only issues:
1- The futon bedroom is not a bedroom. It's a closet. I felt bad for the couple that had to stay in there. Literally only room for a futon. It would be fine for kids, but not for a couple.
The futons in the "loft" are in a hallway. No privacy.
So those are the only issues. I would say cap your number of people at 6 and maybe 2 kids for the futon room. We had 9 adults, and it was tight.
We were within walking distance to the Gaylord Opry Mills mall, so that was a blast. The house was so fun to hang out in during the day, then we would go downtown at night. I would absolutely stay here again!!
80 stars for my dad’s 80th birthday. The house was amazing! Loved the view from the porch. So many extras! Lots of fun and close to everything!!!
Peaceful party paradise
We traveled from Canada with 11 ladies for a bachelorette party. The location was about 20 min from airport and we were not disappointed in the house. Lots of room, super clean, all the amenities. We loved playing in the game room and using the kayaks, pool and hot tub. We sat out each morning enjoying the view of the river and also would go and sit out on the dock. A few ventured out for a nice run and said the road was peaceful. The roll out beds were great. The extra fridge really helped. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate our flight schedule and were a pleasure to work with.
We 100% would rebook here.
Better than advertised
The property exceeded my expectations in many ways. The first of which was overall space. There were seven adults but never once were we crowded in the kitchen or at the dining room table, the sliding glass patio doors allowed for an open feel whether open or closed. Secondly the amenities were better and more plentiful than stated. We spent most of the time in Nashville at the house and still felt we under utilized all the games, instruments, and water features available. Thirdly the location was an unexpected plus. At first I was concerned about the distance to "downtown", but it was a no problem at all, and we could have been occupied by everything within one mile of the house if we chose to stay close. There are so many other small surprises that make this house better than listed.
Great place, great people
We had a group stay for a work event taking place in Nashville. Bill and Anne could not have been more helpful to us! Not only were they so accommodating and friendly but we had so much fun at the house with all the games and activities--we almost forgot...we are here for work!
Perfect place for our group. The game room garage is fabulous. Extremely roomy and comfortable home
The hosts were terrific. Home we'll appointed and thoughtfully stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed this place
We live on a quiet residential street that is only half a mile from The Opryland Hotel and The Grand Ole Opry House. We also live less than a mile from the Opry Mills Mall that has a movie theatre and many unique stores if you love shopping. We live in an area called 'Music Valley' and there are quite a few unique attractions within a mile of the house. We live 10 minutes from downtown Nashville and of course there are too many places to list that are worth going to visit there! If you bring your boat we have a boat dock and it is only a 10 minute boat ride to downtown on the river! We also live 5 minutes from the Two Rivers Greenway that has a beautiful pedestrian Bridge across the Cumberland River and miles of walking/biking trails. We will be posting pictures on our website and Facebook page and we encourage you to post as well during your stay here.
