|Minimum Stay||3 nights|
When you walk in the front door, you'll know why I think this home is so special. It's warm and inviting, comfortable and open, and best of all, filled with light. The house was built in 1910 and has since been remodeled... the inner walls were knocked down to open up one big living room kitchen space. The hard wood floors redone, and radiant heated floors warm the house. There is a mud room with a washer and dryer, and a kitchen with a new gas range and dishwasher, and a counter bar that opens to the living room. The bed room has a queen size bed and the bathroom a large claw-foot tub. This is just the inside...
Outside is bliss. The yard is large and beautifully landscaped... you'll wake up to the smell of lavender outside of your window, there is also a backyard private patio oasis where you can dine or do yoga. There is a grill and I also provide bicycles for your stay upon request. Please notify us if you'd like to have a bike available. You are only minutes from the river trail and downtown Missoula- a great location to explore!

The proximity to downtown is wonderful, and the walk to get there is so lovely - along a river trail. Down the street is Missoula's best natural food store - The Good Food Store, and nearby you'll find wonderful coffee shops (Bernice's and Le Petit), restaurants, and shopping (Betty's Divine!). I've been in Missoula for 12 years and this location is my favorite location in town. Check out the guidebook for my favorite hotspots.
You are within walking distance of the river and downtown. I provide bicycles as well upon request. On a bike you can be at the university in 10 mins and downtown in 5 mins. Missoula also has public transportation and you are within walking distance of the major bus lines.

It's a lovely little oasis in the heart of Missoula
Clean, light filled, peaceful, proximity to all things wonderful in Missoula!
This adobe has some very nice things going for it, location, it was close to where we needed to be, the heating system was great, (noiseless), since it was in the single digits, and there was hot water in the rather weird shower. On the odd side, the microwave was on top of a very tall refrigerator that was impossible to access without climbing on an unstable chair and risking spilling whatever was inside and or falling. There is no TV or radio, the key retrieval system was difficult to do in 3 feet of snow and icy cold weather. The bed was OK but for two people, someone can't get out with disturbing the other. The other big thing was the lack of privacy, the curtains are see through so if you enjoy the fishbowl experience this is your spot. Very interesting house.
We stayed for four days visiting family in Missoula. The house felt like home immediately and had all the amenities we needed. Katy made things so easy and straightforward. Thank you! We will be back!
This place worked well. Close to town and bikes provided. A bit noisy with the street traffic. Great yard and all you need in the kitchen.
We loved Katy's little house in Missoula. We stayed for 5 nights while visiting friends. It is fully equipped with all the kitchen equipment you may need, fresh coffee beans, laundry, bikes you can borrow--all these little details made our stay really special. It is clear that lots of care was taken in setting up this home--NEST thermostat, radiant heated floors....
Katy was also super friendly and easy to communicate with. Although we did not get to meet her in person, we felt very well cared for. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Katy--we would love to return one day!
The bungalow was vintage Missoula within a stone's throw to all the great spots in town. The owner was attentive and thoughtful.
We were visiting family in Missoula who live just around the corner from this property so it was super convenient and close by, making for a great stay. We are a family of four and I was worried that it would be tight with just one bedroom, but the kids did fine on the couch and it wasn't a problem. Great house, very comfortable and cleean and with a nice, small but well-appointed kitchen. Close to everything.
